Majestic colonial is one of the best resorts I’ve been too. The staff is incredible. My butler Sam was phenomenal. He made our experience much better. All of the staff is very nice and goes above and beyond.

We had an amazing time. The resort was everything we wanted. The food was great. The beaches were beautiful with plenty of options. We really loved the straw umbrellas. The pool was huge and there was always a chair available.

It was a very dated property. I understand they are doing renovations soon so hopefully that will improve things that are falling apart! Good and different options for food. Staff were very friendly. I would not recommend purchasing the romantic dinner, as it was the exact same food that is part of the all inclusive, which was disappointing. Lots of space by the pools and the beach, which was nice but chairs were very hard to come by, unless you went out very early in the morning and saved them! We booked club side, but I'm not really sure it was worth the extra money. If you don't like kids, it's definitely the way to go and our butler was very helpful with whatever we needed! Spacious resort but has areas that need improvement. Clean & safe spot, not too far from the airport.

This resort stay was top of the line. I loved my entire experience staying here. My only regret is not staying for longer. My butlers name was Isaias he was such a kind, attentive and amazing person, I give him 10 stars! He provided us with the best service you could ask for. The staff throughout the resort were fantastic as-well, the bartenders the chefs the waiters were all amazing and so kind! This resort was beautiful everywhere you looked you had amazing views, like the beach, pool and the beautiful palm trees through the resort. Our room was cleaned everyday and looked amazing and sanitary. The food was amazing wether you were eating at the main buffet or the restaurants. My favorite was the Japanese restaurant, 10/10 it was delicious I went twice during my stay. I loved that fried ice cream! Thank you majestic for a wonderful and beautiful stay! I will most certainly be coming back and I hope to get Isaias as a butler again because he was truly the best! Thank you for an amazing and memorable stay majestic!

This was my first trip to Punta Cana. The property is beautiful and well kept. The beach is amazing! It has adequate seating and it feels very secure. The bartender at the beach bar did an amazing job of preparing multiple orders at one time. The pool is huge. I wish I would have brought a small pool float with me. The swim up bar is wonderful and the bartenders are very polite and efficient. The food is very good and there are so many things to choose from. I wasn't a huge fan of the Mexican restaurant but I am sure others have had success there. The Animation team is AMAZING!! 10/10! Jose Black does a wonderful job of engaging everyone and brings wonderful energy to all of the activities. Christina and Melvin are also cheerful, energetic, and kind. This team made my vacation 10x more enjoyable.

The staff was very helpful and concerned about your comfort. I would specifically like to thank Victor Nunez at the front desk for going above and be-on his duty to make sure that we were happy and comfortable. There's also Juan from the steak house and who also works at the Tieno restaurant. He went out of his way to make sure that my wife's birthday was a special occasion he made her dance and that was great and I'll never forget these two gentlemen. Thank you Majestic Colonial for treating us like family.

Nice resort needs a little upgrade. Curtains in the rooms were hard to open. Most of the staff were friendly make sure to visit the sports bar! MILCIADES is the best! Pool was excellent! Very nice beach!

We had an excellent time. Everyone is so nice and the drinks and food were great. All of the kids activities kept my 9 year old’s active and happy. They are due for a renovation which is definitely needed but this is a huge resort so I know it’s tough to keep up with. I couldn’t help but screw in the beach shower head I was using because it was so loose and spraying everywhere. A lot of little easy things like that need to be done. Hate that people throw trash in the middle pool islands, tough for workers to get. Pool was excellent though and so beautiful day and night.

We enjoyed everything about the property besides the "butler". I know some people have had great experiences with their butler, but we barely saw ours, and they didn't recognize us passing by on several occasions. You must download an app called 'Wave' to contact them back and forth. We were sent the daily automated activities agenda and an automated message about his arrival and departure. Still, I contacted him to book spa services and make reservations for dinner with us, but I never got a response. Then, randomly, one afternoon, he entered our room announcing "butler services," upon seeing us, he apologized and quickly exited with no explanation, and a sorry message was sent shortly afterward.

We stayed 8 days, 7 nights at the Majestic Colonial and had a Club suite. Our first impressions of the resort were great. The lobby area was beautiful and the staff friendly. The check-in process took longer than it should have as it seemed there were just not enough staff for the amount of guests arriving at the Club section. We booked a room with two bed but was given one. When questioned, we were told that the bed type is never guaranteed. We were disappointed but dealt with it. The room was spacious. The bathroom left much to be desired. The shower was huge and the wash closet very small. Reminded me of an airplane bathroom. We felt that that service was subpar, at best. We got the feeling that you were only given superior service if you were drunk or obnoxious; we were neither. The food options were plenty, but the quality was not good. The Japanese restaurant was the best. We ate there twice. On one occasion we attempted to eat at Rodeo Grill for dinner only to walk out an hour later without being served. No one seemed to notice or care. Our butler Henry was great. No issues with him. 10/10 for Henry! Housekeeping could use more training. Floors were dirty to the point where we had to wipe our feet off before getting into bed. Each day we had to basically beg for washcloths. It became very inconvenient. The beach area was beautiful and the grounds were maintained well. Overall, our stay was not the greatest and we wouldn’t recommend this resort and won’t be coming back.

Beach was very nice. Pools were nice. Sit down restaurants were very good. Buffet food was typical resort food. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I just wish more staff spoke English. Yefferson was particularly helpful.

This was our 2nd stay here. Liked kindness of staff and not bothered with pushing of any kind of timeshare .Also like less bothersome vendors like other hotels we have stayed in Punta Cana. Noticed this stay were more children/families .. not sure we liked that so much as seemed more children dancing than adults till later in the evening . Also shows should be more geared for adult entertainment..other than that we always enjoy our stays at Majestic

The staff was very friendly and happy. They wanted to make sure you were having a good time. Pool and beach were amazing. The food and all the restaurants were quite extensive and many to choose from. The entertainment every night was over the top and during the day there was always something going on if you like. The grounds were beautiful and well kept up. Great family vacation! We would go back.
