Staff was great and friendly, the room was clean and the daily activities and nightly shows we're super fun! The buffets always had great options as well, plenty of options to chose from. I also loved the music all around the resort. Can't wait to go back!!

The resort is older but still kept immaculate. Beautiful landscaping, clean rooms, excellent service, friendly staff, good drinks, good food. At Majestic every little thing is tended to. Our butler Juan went out of his way to make us gery comfortable. I was not feeling well and he made sure i had gatorade and saltines and checked on me daily. Our maid was excellent she was caring and kind. Everything cleaned everyday twice a day. Our bartender at the club was excellent serving everyone professionally and with a smile. I cant wait to come back always a great experience.

Resort was amazing, food and the pool were fantastic. Resort does need updating, much of the areas showing it’s age. Staff English for the most part not so good but doesn’t take away from the experience. Would stay again.

Wish the tennis and pickleball courts had lights and you could play at night because it is so hot during the day. All the outlets (which there were very few) were all loose and sometimes wouldn’t hold the plug and it would fall out.

The staf does not speak english. Called the front desk few times no one picked up. Went to the main loby asked for water in the room no one cared to tend to my requests i had to talk to the manager a day after for them to actually comply. Please chek the food you are eating some can be and will be raw. Speacily the bbq chicken

Very lovely grounds, beautiful beach, excellent service, adults only pool with bar,varied and delectable dining options.Sarahjane became so highly horned with those features and the in-room jacuzzi that she required frequent room servicing.... Stay was everything we could ask for and more. Also noteworthy were the positive and cheerful attitudes of the staff, something that was decidedly lacking on other islands. The lunch buffet at Hispaniola was my favorite, large seafood and local fish/veggie selection along with,curiously, Spanish style cured meats

The staff is the reason we stay here. Our Butler Doral was attentive and so friendly The bartender at the Adult Club beach bar was wonderful, but we forgot to get his name. Housekeeping was great

The resort is beautiful and the restaurant and bar staff are friendly. We did have some issues when we requested assistance. We were missing items in the room and it days for them to be brought to the room. We asked for a late check out and they were not willing to accommodate this request.

We had a great stay from start to finish. The beach, pool, food, and room were all fabulous for a very reasonable price over the holiday season. We were happy with all the amenities provided and really enjoyed the little “VIP” lounge area to grab a little bite and drink or coffee. The staff are what really made our time at the Majestic Colonial extraordinary. From Bladimil our butler, all the waitstaff and bartenders, housekeeping, grounds crew, front desk…seriously every member of the Majestic team that we encountered during our stay were pleasant, efficient, and welcoming. It seems as though the property is planning a pretty large renovation and will be closed in the future for a period of time. And although I agree there were areas of the resort that needed some updating and minor improvements……the overwhelming reason we would return was because of the true hospitality we felt during our stay. Please make sure to keep this the core of your resort. It is what makes people feel like they are at a “home away from home”!! Thank you!
