Everything about this resort was amazing. The staff especially elevate the experience and make it very fun to be at. The only thing about the resort that was just okay was the food. The only reservation restaurant that was very good was the Japanese one. The other restaurants were good but the wait times were quite long. The buffet had tons of options but it was also just okay.

Everything was excellent BUT smoking throughout property was a BIG turn off. Their responses to reviews say that they are addressing this. No evidence of this. No designated smoking areas…peaceful lounging by or in pool and in buildings is ruined by smoke drifting into your quiet zone.

The staff works hard to accommodate everyone, however the property overall needs a facelift, the room we stayed in as well as the rest of the property needs repairs, a new paint job and better water pressure in the showers. In my room the shower head was rusted, the ceiling of the shower looked like it was about to fall and had little wood pieces on the sides keeping it up, there were roaches outside the room due to food plates not being pick up in time after room service was provided and there were roaches inside the room probably for the same reason( it took 2 days for plates to be picked up from the room next to me). The room smelled due to moisture, the mattress had black spots that looked like mold which was covered by a sheet and not a fitted sheet . While everyone was nice and kind, the property needs repairs and not just a quick fix. The restaurants felt very rushed even when it wasn't too busy. I was in the middle of dinner and the waitress tried to take the plate and asked me what option I wanted for dessert or I would stop to take a breath and someone would try to pick up my plate. I wish there was more local food or native food options but everything was mostly American/European food choices. I am grateful to the staff however with the prices being paid it should reflect on the property and its services. I loved the location and the pool with the bar it wasn't over crowed or noisy, it was the right amount to relax and be entertained.

Overall the resort was great. It was clean, the people were friendly. The only issue we had was when checking in..... There were two other couples with us and the butler insisted on taking each group to their rooms individually while the others wait. Although I understand why they might want to do this, my husband and I had just travelled for two days, our flight was already delayed arriving, we just wanted to go to our room. We were not happy that we had to wait an extra 30 mins just to find out what room number we were in.

Everything was great except for the maid who cleans our room. When I didn’t leave a tip she didn’t clean the hot tub nor put any wash rags and the towel for the floor to step out the shower.
