Not worth the price. Terrible food, poor communication skills in staff, rudest staff ever encountered, resort restaurant really bad food, many times we noticed stale food, there is nothing near by where you can go eat or shop, tiles coming off in swimup pool, overall bad experience

We just got back from this hotel, 2 adults and three kids. We got the swimup flat suite, which was great for 5 people. the swimup pool was pretty cold, but the kids didnt seem to mind too much. the beach was great, the pools and the waterpark were also great and the temperature in those pools were fine. We also all loved the lazy river. Cons - the food was just okay. nothing amazing. the drinks were lacking. nothing special. our app to book restaurants did not work the entire time we were there. biggest con: we were staying in building 4 and there was this feature right outside our door where you step on a fake sewer and the ninja turtles theme song plays really loud. IT WAS SO FREAKING LOUD. The theme song still haunts me in my dreams. The kids would start jumping on it as early as 6am... and also all hours of the night! At first I thought it was cute, my kids also loved it. but after hearing the theme song while trying to sleep for the millionth time, it lost its appeal. one night it rained and I think the sensor got stuck....so it literally played non stop from 12am - 3am. I called the front desk and they said they would send someone to fix it but it was a while before it stopped. I know you are probably reading this and thinking that this isnt a big deal, but try keeping three kids asleep at 2 in the morning with TURTLES IN A HALF SHELL blaring in your ear on max volume lol.

We booked this resort based on recommendations however it was extremely disappointing: Room: the PAD swim out suite was in disrepair, the bathroom doors did not work, the curtain between did not go up and down and the shower had no hot water. We reported this multiple times to the personal concierge however nothing was done until the resort manager was involved after 7 days of an 10 day vacation, we were moved to a different room. Food: Food was far from gourmet and at the à la carte restaurants we were frequently informed that the requested menu item was not available. Online it indicates more restaurant and bar options however only 4 à la carte restaurants were open through our stay. The Nick bistro was only used for character breakfasts and dinners which were an extra charge. Child amenities: despite asking multiple times and despite it being noted on the resorts website we were not able to get a change table or bottle warmer. It took the resort manager being involved to obtain these amenities. As I child friendly resort, I expected better entertainment throughout the day around the entire resort, not just at the spray park. Bars: many of the bars were closed including 3 of the 5 swim up bars. Liquor was watered down. Resort cleanliness: the resort overall was very clean and you could tell the took great pride in maintaining the resort appearances Staff: the staff were very friendly however struggled to assist when there were problems with the room

We stayed for 5 days 4 night staff was extremely nice. Spend most of our time at the water park 10/10. We did the breakfast with characters that was the only thing was not our favorite but it was still fun. We plan on coming back next year.

My family and I were unable to fully enjoy our vacation due to repeated instances of systemic colorism from staff. We were frequently overlooked in favor of lighter-skinned or white guests, which was disheartening, especially having to explain to my toddler why we weren’t being offered the same activities or opportunities. For example, after waiting in line for face painting for about ten minutes, we were told they were “done,” only to watch the worker take another child as soon as we walked away. It was a very sad and disappointing experience. Additionally, the handling of seafood appeared poor, which resulted in illness during our trip.

The room was spotless. The staff was the most pleasant and helpful I could have ever asked for. We were apprehensive at first to take our 4 year old granddaughter out of country but based on our experience I would recommend the nick joints for anyone. We loved it all.
