Great value. Staff was very kind always. Food was well above my expectations. My kids had a great time and we felt there was enough to do for all of us. The spa was also nice. Larger and more complete than I would have expected.

The young man, Peter, who checked us in was great. It seemed that we were off to a great start. Our room was clean and cooled off quickly. Pit butler, Jose, was top notch. Alexander and Junior with Junior Excursions there in the main lobby were also outstanding. Unfortunately, thats where the positives ended. The food was sub par - with the exception of the made to order omelets in the English section of the buffet. We ate at the Mexican, Japanese, Privilege restaurant and the Steakhouse

We stayed for one week and what made our stay good was our butler Jose. He deserves recognition for his work. He was friendly and always made time to talk to us, address our concerns and help with restaurant reservations. He also made it a special night for my dad’s birthday which we appreciated. The resort itself did not feel 5 star. The rooms are outdated and need repairs. The beach was not useable at all due to rocks, seaweed and appeared to be makeshift. The pools were large and staff there were nice. The food was actually better quality and fresh compared to other all inclusives.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this resort while celebrating my 4th-year anniversary, and I can confidently say it exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome, with most being incredibly friendly and accommodating. A special mention goes to Jose Jimenez, who truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable and memorable. His warm and attentive service made a significant difference during our celebration. The dining options at the resort were equally impressive. El Mercado offered a buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, featuring fresh and delicious food every day. It was a highlight of our trip, offering a wide variety of choices that satisfied everyone in our family. The amenities at the resort were also excellent, especially for families with young children. My 18-month-old son had a fantastic time exploring and enjoying the kid-friendly facilities, which made the trip even more special for us as a family. I highly recommend this resort for families traveling with young kids. Additionally, I suggest booking excursions through the resort — we booked two, Swimming with Dolphins and Monkeyland, and both were fantastic experiences that we’ll always remember. Overall, our stay was wonderful, and I would definitely consider returning in the future.

Amazing Experience at El Faro – Highly Recommended! I recently stayed at El Faro in Punta Cana for a week in the El Beso room, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The staff truly made our trip unforgettable. A special shoutout to Jose and Cezy, our concierge team, who were always attentive, helpful, and friendly. The Beso pool staff also went above and beyond – from the bartender to the towel guy, everyone was professional and quick. I loved that they would deliver drinks right to me while I relaxed or swam poolside. That level of service made all the difference. I traveled with my girlfriend, and we both felt that the resort is perfect not just for couples, but also for families and even solo travelers. The atmosphere is welcoming and fun for everyone. Tip: Make sure to talk to the staff about special deals within the H10 hotel group. I highly recommend speaking with Marcus from Massachusetts – he got us an amazing deal that added even more value to our stay. Would absolutely go back and recommend it to anyone visiting

Kevin was our client specialist and he did an amazing job! He assured we had everything we needed and made reservations for us accordingly. It was a group of 19 of us and he handled it with such ease and made our stay amazing! The resort was beautiful,clean, and had alot of entertainment! It is great for families and also teens looking to have a good time. Foam parties, beach parties, shows, nightclub, and food was 10 out 10! Rooms are spacious but would definitely recommend the swimup room. The spa is also amazing and has a cold hydro therapeutic pool for relaxation. Will definitely stay again! Thank you Kevin and Ocean El Faro staff for making our vacation a great time!

Butler service and was great The rooms are beautiful and very spacious. Also, the food was really good many choices. The downside beach was very unkept very rocky in the water. Lots of seaweed on the shore. Also house cleaning would not even go upstairs or scoop the floor we had to complain about it twice. Lastly, they put you into a sales pitch under the guys that only be 30 minutes long. We were there for an hour and a half trying to get away finally walked up and got away and that just kind of put a damper on the rest of the vacation. They should also keep all these scammers off the beach. They have security on beach kick them off cause they’re so in your face all the time
