This is our second trip to El Faro. The staff is superb and their attitude and hospitality is excellent! My only concern is that the buildings areas must have a more detail attention to maintenance as we noticed the rusting around the buildings more than the last time we were here. But overall we will comeback!

I will start by saying the place is cool and pretty, the property is very nice, the pools are big and there is enough room so the don’t get crowded. There’s only one pool that plays music and has entertainment. The maids made sure to keep our room clean, but most of the outlets didn’t work. There’s a lot of cats, but we didn’t mind them. The service and food is subpar at best. Except for Route 66, that place was great. Jennifer our server was outstanding. I gave this place 2 stars for the lack of service and the subpar food.

Overall a great experience. Rooms were nice and clean, regular house cleaning, lots of things to do, good food options and beautiful beach. Jose was a great concierge. He helped us book restaurants, updated on activities happening around the resort and making sure we have everything that we needed delivered to our room.

We stayed for 5 days at this resort and had a great experience. The food and drinks quality were outstanding for an all-inclusive resort. For example, the meats were cooked as ordered and high quality. The room was well designed and stocked. We had a Privilege stay and enjoyed the Privilege pool with food service as well as the Privilege Lounge. We traveled with two small children and were able to enjoy most of the entertainment and resort amenities. The service was professional and caring from most staff although it was not consistent everywhere. I would like to give a shout out to Justina, Juan, and John from the Privilege pool, to Jose Miguel our butler who provided excellent service, to Dani in housekeeping, and to Jomaira at the Privilege buffet area. Overall, I would recommend this resort.

Room was enough clean. Staff was good. Lazy river was great for kids. Lots of pool were great. Food was just ok in the restaurants required the reservation. Beach was rough wave and not white sand. Lagoon was good to swim. The light house was good but they close before sunset is done. Wished they open late. In overal it’s good. Specially for family with small kids.

Super family resort. Lots of activities and facilities, ideal for kids age 2-12. Big spotless hotel rooms. Well laid out property, definitely walkable but frequent golf cart trolley service available. No need to get up early for sun chairs or palapa's at beach or pool, great choices anytime of day.

Overall the resort was good. The food was not great, but ok. Most of the staff is very nice, on a few occasions we came across very rude employees. The check in was very slow 45 minutes waiting to check in was very frustrating. The coffee shop was always understaffed.
