Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
If you want a real review, please read this whole thing. The attentiveness of the staff were a 1/5. Only thing keeping it a 1 is the genuine staff you do meet. I waited 40 min after 3pm and they didn’t even notify us that they will be late. We went to check in at 3pm for the card to the room and they gave us a time they didn’t stick to. The property id say is very spacious and has a beautiful landscape. The food there is not so well. The desserts are very delicious and presentable. The room service kept things tidy, but I did find sand in my sheets on the 2nd night. Not sure if they changed my sheets when cleaning up. Found a dead roach on my last day, wasn’t too worried about it due to it being on an island where it’s natural but would’ve been better if I didn’t see it. The staff at the front desk were lazy. I called 4 times for bathrobes and slippers and all times they failed to send them over. I got a deluxe suite and it clearly states bathrobes and slippers are included but when I went down to tell them my complaint about calling 4 times, they told me they will investigate it, and never got back to us. I was mind boggled after Expedia clearly states that it DOES come along with the deluxe suite. The staff at the beach who controls Archery and etc was total nonsense. They told me they’ll be opening at 4pm (which is pretty late) and when I came at 5pm, they were completely closed. 1 hour? Complete laziness. Lack of professionalism. What made it better?The visitors you meet!
