From a leaking roof, to water running down my walls on my first night there…moved to a 2nd roof at 5am, only to encounter numerous issues in THAT room, AC barely working, to a newly installed bathroom fan with no electrical switch to turn it on, and after this was explained to guest services, nothing was done, a large gap in my door jamb, so hot air constantly coming in, a large gap ALL the way door my sliding door onto balcony...my stay was horrendous. Alexander at guest services can be very rude, Joel, one of the managers sat there like a lump on a log, without much or any input to these issues. Offered to move me to a sister hotel, whose reviews were horrible and mentioned a lot of the same troubles I was encountering…I declined because why change one set of problems for another?! The pool, most days, not cleaned properly, bird poop floating everywhere, and very obvious, and numerous, spots of mildew. Food was horrible, and often cold at dinner time, despite showing up right at 6:30 when they opened. It was four days before I saw a vegtable other than potatoes. The majority of the staff looked like they’d rather be getting a root canal. The spa is HORRIBLY overpriced and definately not worth your hard earned money. DO NOT STAY HERE!! I really, truly can’t say this loud enough. Do I have pictures and videos of all the room issues? You bet I do!! As for the ‘canned’ response that undoubtedly will come from the General Manager…don’t bother!
