The Tracadero property is a beautiful, lush, tropical oasis with infinity pools, gorgeous flowering bushes and majestic palms throughout. There's an excellent outdoor pizza place and we enjoyed an excellent breakfast and supper at the onsite restaurant. There is no beach but excellent snorkeling right off the rocky ledge and down a ladder. The people that work there are all very accommodating and we never had any issues in dealing with them. Our unit [#83 Marina] was large but sparse in that only 1 wine glass and 2 water glasses were to be found in the cupboards and NO microwave to be had. More were delivered but should have been available from the start since the unit can accommodate up to 4 people. Provided housekeeping items can be sparse but once you contact reception any needed items are delivered but maybe not post haste. All in all we loved our 4-night stay at Tracadero, both on site and walking around the Dominicus area either for supplies at the Mini Mart or enjoying delicious meals at an excellent choice of local restaurants.

Great place! Apartment for 5 people impecable. Great service and kindness from reception desk. Beautiful place to snorkel and dive due to rocky small cliffs. Not the place if you look more for sandy beaches. Stayed there with 3 kids and had a great time. Strongly recommended.

When I checked in, I noticed that there were no towels in the room. Two lamps in the bedroom were unplugged simply because the plugs were unsuitable for the outlets. The television did not work. I tried to arrange for a massage for the following day. No one would answer the spa phone. In fact, no one is around to help you after 7:00 pm. The food at the restaurant on the grounds was overpriced and underwhelming. Finally, the resort advertised transportation to the airport. I arranged a trip through the information desk. It was to be paid for by credit card. However, the driver apparently did not know and wanted $100 cash. Be aware that they add on 18% for the right to use a credit card.

The location and view was beautiful! The bartenders Ruben, and Harlem at the Esko Bar were great. The only disappointment was that the facilities are open to the public so you get a lot of kids and people that do not respect your space. I paid a lot of money and I thought I would have exclusive use of the facilities along with other paying guests. The second thing, I was patient and asked the front registration to please provide me with hot water. Finally after day 3 I got hot water. I travelled solo and this is not a place for solo travelers. Very few people speak English most are Italian or Spanish speaking.

Staff very nice and well trained, check in was 5 minutes, a very big room with everything new. Very well maintained inside and out. Ice cold A/C. Could benefit from more bed sheets and more pillows. The food is very good too. Felt safe walking alone at night. Definitely one of the best places to stau in bayahibe.

It was spacious, confortable and with different areas to spend time and enjoy. Good A/C in common areas and rooms. An elevator would be good to get to the 3rd floor as well as conforters in the beds and not just the bed sheets.
