Escape to this amazing house on picturesque Middle Bass Island. With 3 cozy bedrooms featuring 4 full beds, 2 modern bathrooms with showers, and essential amenities like AC, WiFi, a fully furnished kitchen, with a washing machine and dryer, and a gas grill on the deck to make all guests will feel right at home. Also included for your enjoyment are two bikes, kayaks, corn-hole, golf clubs with balls, horseshoes, fishing poles and a tabletop shuffleboard. Also just a short walk from the cottage is Lake Erie, a large swimming pool, and a marina to dock your boat if you have one to bring. Relax in the peaceful surroundings at the cottage or go outside where there is plenty of green space for you to run around and enjoy the outside. If you want to explore the the island there are plenty of things to see. There are glacial grooves on the North Shore just past Peterson’s pond. Across from the pond just north of the runway there is an Eagles nest where you can get a good view of our eagle’s flying around. On the West point of the island are some of the historic homes that were built in the early 1900s which include President Garfield‘s home that he once owned. Back towards the dock where you arrived you’ll pass the GENERAL STORE, three restaurants, the schoolhouse, a church, and a couple play areas for the kids. Down closer to the dock you’ll see the state Park Marina and the newly renovated Lonz winery museum. This is just a few of the things that you can see and do. My suggestion would be to hop on the bikes and ride around and enjoy yourself.
