Great family friendly hotel

We had a great stay at the Quality Inn in Quebec City. The room was quiet and clean. It was a great price, especially with breakfast included. The breakfast was very nice - there was fresh scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit yogurt etc (and the waffle maker!) it was just a short drive into the downtown.

The room was tiny, the smallest room I have ever seen. Only one elevator and it was far far away from the parking lot and our room. The pool was really small, always full of kids and not enough towels. The buffet was ok, but missing stuff early in the morning and almost did not find a table to sit. Most of the staff were nice, but there was one lady that clearly did not wanna be there as she was rude. I do not recommend..

Il a quelqu’un qui est rentré dans l’hôtel vers minuit pour déclencher l’alarme de feu. Je vous laisse devenir le réveil !! J’ai dû habiller et sortir de la chambre avec mes 3 enfants. Bruit terriblement fort pendant près de 30 min dans l’hôtel sans que le personnel ne sache quoi faire. Il disait qu’il devait attendre les pompiers pour éteindre le système, pourtant un client (dont c’est probablement son métier) s’en est occupé. Lorsqu’éteinte, nous avons pu retourner dans nos chambres. Cela a pris beaucoup de temps avant qu’on se rendorme. Aucune excuse ou autre de l’établissement ! Plus que ordinaire comme service !

This hotel is clean and up to date. The breakfast buffet has good variety and the gym is well maintained and clean. Staff are friendly and check in/out is a breeze. Will definitely stay again next time I'm in Quebec.
