Where do I begin.. The room was so hot and had 3 staff come in and could not adjust. Told me I had to contact Expedia to change room. Water dripping from window had towel. Free continental breakfast every day we were there at 9am and always out of items 1 hour before closing . Out of bowls, spoons, knife, yogurt, juice . Was told they lock the remotes for air conditioning in our room even after they could not fix the heat . We were there for 8 days . Very tiny rooms just enough for a bed small tv and desk. Asked for towels was told none right now. Ask for hand soap never received . Our bedding had looked like urine stains. And I’m sure I’m forgetting other items. Couldn’t find another hotel due to the carnaval of Quebec.

The evening receptionist when we first got there was so unprofessional- there is no words. She was trying to tell me I was there earlier. Challenged me on my room. My reservation. And even my name. Then she panicked because she thought she gave my room away. I had just driven six hours so this made me feel super uneasy and annoyed. She told me to sit down and have a coffee in the rudest way possible while she said out loud - everything is happening to me tonight. So unprofessional to show the client who is tired in a foreign city that amount of stress from her. She raised her voice and was very condescending- telling me to calm down and I shouldn’t be rude. I was ready to leave but I was there for my daughter’s cheer competition and all hotels were booked. Then she realized there was no issue. if she had just taken the time to check my name this whole situation could have been avoided. Then finally we went to our room thats twenty three degrees wet, humide. The drapery does not close properly so there is no sleeping in. The hotel looks nice on picture but it’s like they were taken with a filter. The actual hotel is just not updated on look or parts. Our windows were sweating. The insulation is poor. The continental buffet is not very good. Cream cheese on toast not even a bagel, The bagged muffins that are full of sugar. Sugar cereals. Green bananas. Then all the dirty dishes just all get left in a sink. So unsanitary.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Liked having a refrigerator in room and access to the microwave in the breakfast area. For once a bathroom the had enough towels from the start and an exhaust fan that actually worked! Only downfall, in my kids view, was the pool was not open as the heater was not working properly.
