The property was lovely, the staff was kind and helpful. We had a fabulous time in Queenstown. The water taxi was very convenient for getting to town. One of the features that stood out was the breakfast each morning. There was a huge selection of different options for a satisfying breakfast and the food was quite good for buffet style. We would definitely recommend staying at the DoubleTree in Queenstown if you're visiting for any length of time.

Nice lake views but the suite was small and rooms situated on the 4th floor have a strange location which means transferring lifts on the 3rd floor (unless you want to enter/exit from the car park). Staff were generally really good apart from a couple of the breakfast crew, breakfast was adequate, not great. Hotel location is lovely and it’s special to have the water taxi stop right outside. Given the proximity to the airport and the extortionate taxi fares charged to get there, Hilton should really look at offering a courtesy shuttle. All in all I would say that stay was just about value for money given that Queenstown is expensive anyway.
