Welcome to Finca Los Mangos, a tropical retreat inna local neighborhood nestled in the lush hills of Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. Named after the beautiful mango tree at its heart, this property features two identical eco-friendly wooden cabins — the perfect setup for large families, two families traveling together, or groups of up to 10 guests who want to enjoy time together while still having privacy and personal space.

🏡 The Space
Finca Los Mangos includes two separate wooden cabins, each designed for comfort and sustainability. Both cabins were built using ecological materials, combining tropical charm with modern convenience.

Each cabin accommodates up to 5 guests and offers:
• An open-plan living space with comfortable seating and TV
• A fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, fridge, microwave, rice cooker, coffee maker, and all cooking essentials
• A bedroom on the ground floor with a double bed and its own AC unit
• A bathroom with hot shower and washing machine
• A bright mezzanine loft with two queen beds, accessible via safe and comfortable stairs rebuilt in 2021
• Powerful air conditioning systems throughout the cabin to keep you cool in the tropical climate

Together, the two cabins comfortably sleep up to 10 guests — offering the best of both worlds: shared time around the pool and plenty of space for privacy when desired.

The property features a refreshing shared pool with a solar-powered pump, surrounded by tropical greenery and fruit trees. It’s perfect for cooling off after a day at the beach or exploring the rainforest.

The property is fenced and gated for security and includes parking for two cars inside. Guests can relax in the small but lush garden, listen to the birds, or enjoy morning coffee under the big mango tree. You might even be visited by monkeys or spot colorful tropical birds in the surrounding trees.

Finca Los Mangos sits in a local neighborhood in the hills of Manuel Antonio — safe, authentic, and full of life. You’ll find a mix of local homes and a few other vacation rentals nearby.

• Bus stop just 250 meters away, with routes to the beach, Quepos, and even San José
• Walking distance to small restaurants, local shops, a supermarket, and neighborhood favorite El Cerdo Feliz

Guests have exclusive use of the entire property, which includes two private wooden cabins and all shared outdoor areas.
• The pool and garden are shared only between these two cabins (and entirely yours when booking both).
• Secure gated parking is available for two cars inside the property.
• Each cabin has its own private entrance, kitchen, bathroom, and A/C, providing both comfort and independence.
• The pool area, garden, and outdoor seating offer plenty of space to relax or enjoy time together.

You’ll have full privacy within the fenced property and easy self-check-in for flexible arrival.

I live in my home country Switzerland and am very happy to communicate with you via messages. The local co-owner of Finca Los Mangos Jenny lives just next door and will make sure everything runs smoothly for you. She will enter the garden daily to take care of the plants and give maintenance to the pool. We like to give you your privacy but are available when needed.

Just off the main road of Manuel Antonio in a residential local neighborhood, the location is perfect to explore the area. Just 10 minutes by car to the beach and the national park. Or walk for 250 meters to the main road to get a cab or take the bus to Quepos or the beach.
Just one block away from Finca Los Mangos you’ll find a small supermarket
Since Manuel Antonio is nestled in the rainforest, there will be occasionally Monkeys visiting the big mango tree at the property. Please be aware that This is a typical residential area and not a remote mountain resort or hotel zone. People live around us and there are sounds that go along with that.

By bus, taxi or rental car Manuel Antonio beach, the national park and Quepos is just about 10 minutes away. You may as well walk to the beach. This would take between 30 and 40 minutes

• Neighborhood sounds: Finca Los Mangos is located in a lively Costa Rican residential neighborhood. You may occasionally hear locals chatting, playing music, dogs, or passing cars — it’s part of the authentic local atmosphere.
• Wildlife: Due to the nearby rainforest, it’s common to spot monkeys, birds, iguanas, and other wildlife. Please enjoy their visits respectfully and avoid feeding them.
• Pool maintenance: Because of the tropical weather and the large mango tree, leaves or flowers can fall into the pool. We personally come by once daily to clean and maintain the pool, which means we may briefly enter the garden area for this purpose.
• Eco-friendly features: Both cabins are built from natural materials, and the pool uses a solar-powered pump for sustainable operation.
• Parking: Space for two cars inside the gated property. Street parking at your own risk.
• Access: The property is easily reachable with a regular sedan.
• Pool: The pool is not heated but remains refreshingly cool all year round thanks to the tropical climate and the shade of the Mango trees.

We recommend bringing insect repellent and storing food securely — you’re in the tropics, where nature is always close by! 🌴

The access to the Loft/Mezzanine area has been refurbished in October 2021. The steep staircase has been replaced with comfortable stairs

No luggage drop off or storage

Pet Policy: we accept small dogs for an additional pet fee per dog. Only small dogs are accepted. The owner is responsible to not leave the pet by itself. Pets cannot enter the pool area and may not use the garden as a restroom.
No unregistered guests!

Help to safe energy and resources. Do not leave the a/c on when not home or windows and doors are open

Please shower before using the pool! No food in the pool and no glassware at the pool area.

Please do not move the furniture

There is space to park two cars on the property - do not try to accommodate more cars in the property, there are septic tanks underground in the garden areas.
If a key is lost a fee of USD 200 is charged to cover the cost of exchanging the locks
Make sure everyone in your group is familiar with those rules. This is a non smoking house Pet Policy: we accept small dogs for an additional pet fee of USD 25 per night per dog. Only small dogs are accepted. The owner is responsible to not leave the pet by itself. Pets can not enter the pool area and can not use the garden as a restroom. The booker is responsible to report pets to the host before arrival
