Everything about this place was great. The views, the monkeys and toucans we could see from our balcony, the sloths down the beach, the golf cart and breakfast, and even the bottles of water for the road when we checked out

Amazing hotel with views. Saw so many birds and wildlife from our balcony. Jaxier and the rest of the restaurant staff were super hospitable and Jairo and the hotel staff were super accomadating. Will be re visiting

We stayed at the Shana for a week over spring break. Everything about it was wonderful. The staff, the beach, the pool, the breakfast. we saw more wildlife on the hotel proper than we did in Manuel Antonio National Park. The monkeys were daily entertainment. There is a sloth that hangs out in a tree by the adult pool and a set of scarlet macaws that will fly in every day. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.

It’s a nice hotel. For me the pool was a highlight. The listing for the hotel says the rooms are soundproofed. I’m not sure why because they clearly are not. I listened to the child next door scream every evening. It seemed just like one of the things you encounter when you travel.

The property was beautiful and had a fantastic view of the ocean. The staff were exceptional. We received excellent service from Javier, Johnny and Kevin. The location allowed for many animal sittings - monkeys, sloths, iguanas, parrots, and toucans.

My stay at Shana by the Beach was nothing short of magical. Nestled amidst lush jungle and just a short stroll from the sparkling sands of Playa Biesanz, the location offered pure serenity. The staff was warm and attentive, making every interaction feel personal and genuine. My room was spacious, and immaculately clean, with a balcony that opened to a mesmerizing view. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals—fresh seafood and tropical cocktails were standouts!
