Property was easy to find with good signage on the front. Host sent detailed instructions also. We were later than expected due to travelling from Wicklow but host was friendly and welcoming. We weren’t able to park as had been instructed but we were offered an alternative option. Property was grand for our night stay with our elderly dog. Everything you could need to store fresh food/make dinner etc. While getting ready the next morning we were left without any water for approx 45mins at the kitchen sink, no one was in the shower at the time so couldn’t be sure if it affected both, not sure if this is a supply issue but the water did start working again later. Nice private outdoor seating area provided for your accommodation only.

​If you are looking to escape the mad world or planning the perfect family break, look no further. This place is truly a hidden gem, and from the bottom of our hearts, we cannot recommend it highly enough. ​From the moment we arrived, we knew we were somewhere special.The property is incredibly easy to find using Google Maps, which made the journey entirely stress-free. Also communication from the owner before arrival.As soon as you drive onto the grounds, an immediate sense of safety and tranquility washes over you.What truly sets this place apart, however, is the hospitality.The family living on-site are some of the warmest, most welcoming people you could ever hope to meet.They went out of their way to make us feel at home and share their fantastic local knowledge,pointing us toward the best attractions and wonderful nearby restaurants that we might have otherwise missed.The accommodation is absolutely spotless and beautifully maintained. After a long day of exploring, the beds were exactly what we needed—insanely comfortable and perfect for a peaceful night's sleep. Outside, there is a great open space with football posts in the front, and the hosts actively encourage you to use them and enjoy the grounds, which was a fantastic touch for a bit of fun. But perhaps the most magical part of the stay happens after dark. It is so remarkably quiet here, and because there is no noise or light pollution, the views of the stars at night will absolutely take your breath away.
