Additional Rules & Fees
Security Deposit: For reservations made through VRBO a $150 hold will be placed on your card the day before your departure. Provided there are no damages the full amount will be released to you 7 days after the initial hold is made. For Airbnb reservations damages will be taken care of via the Airbnb claims center.
Obey all local laws, codes and ordinances - $1,000 fine for any citation.

• No Parties - $500 fine.
• No smoking/vaping/candles/incense INDOORS - $500 fine. Smoking only allowed outdoors with windows closed and cigarette butts disposed of only in outdoor trash. If smoke or cigarette smell is not dispersed after the house is cleaned you will incur a $250 fine.
Check-out is at 11am ET and Check-In is at 4pm ET. $50 late checkout and $50 early check-in fee if available, non-negotiable before 1pm. After 1pm, guests will pay that night's base rate due to inability for future guests to book the same day.
Max number of people on property - four (4) people. Every unauthorized guest on our property beyond our max occupancy of four (4) people will result in a fee of $50 per unauthorized guest.
Pets are welcome but we do require guests to disclose that they are bringing a pet since when the pet is listed as a “guest” it adds our standard $150 pet fee. This fee covers extra cleaning services required to restore the home to rentable condition. Not disclosing your pet will incur a $300 fee due to the inconvenience of disrupting cleaning service preparations and operations.
• Quiet hours: 10PM-8AM.
• No spray tanning/henna application/hair dyeing.
• Please wash your dishes and START WASH with towels in the washer before checkout. If dishes and/or towels are not washed, $25 fee may be applied.
Unsalvageable linens/bath towels will be charged to the guest (towel $20, sheet $25)
• Lock home when leaving.
• Trash and Recycling (brown) are alongside the house. Please do not put trash in the blue recycling can! Curbside pickup is early Mondays, if you stay Sunday night please take containers to curb Sunday evening and return to the side of home Monday afternoon.
If guests are found in the unfortunate event of disruptions alerting neighbors, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.
If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY.
Lastly, because this is an Airbnb community not a hotel, please be respectful of the property and keep it clean before you leave.
Please park in the driveway. Free parking is allowed on the street as well. Please note, we are not responsible for any events related to your vehicle while parked on the street or driveway.

Cozy Home in an Industrial Setting

The house is charming and recently renovated, with tasteful finishes, high-quality appliances, and attention to detail. However, there are some drawbacks. The dining table is very small, resembling a children’s table, with only two tiny chairs. This setup is uncomfortable and impractical for more than two people. Upgrading to a regular-sized dining table with seating for four would enhance functionality. The kitchenware, though new, is minimal and lacks essentials, and there’s only one new towel set for a couple. The modern bathtub design is visually appealing but needs safety features such as grab bars and a non-slip mat to improve accessibility.While the parking area is spacious, the stone pavement makes walking and rolling luggage challenging, especially for someone using a cane. The house is located on a quiet short street, but the surrounding neighborhood is industrial, bordered by mechanic shops, trucks, and old cars, which detracts from the ambiance. This environment isn’t ideal for walks and generates noise on weekdays. Additionally, dozens street cats in the area caused stress for our dog.On the positive side, the host was attentive and accommodating, granting extra time for checkout. The house is also close to a park and a farmer’s market, offering some convenience.In summary, while comfortable and well-maintained, improvements to the dining setup, and accessibility are needed. The location has some merits but isn’t ideal for a relaxing or scenic stay.

The apartment was clean and newly renovated. Management team was responsive. The only issue I experienced was that the manual that was emailed to me wouldn’t open so I wound up calling. I would stay here again.
