Within an hour of entering the room a large cockroach ran across the floor. I reported it to the front desk staff who were responsive and offered to move me to another room. I decided to stay so they offered me $10 discounted breakfast for the remainder of my stay. When I attempted to use the coupon the waitress in the restaurant told me it was only for one day and attempted to take the coupon away from me. I notified the desk supervisor who went over and informed her that it was good for all of my stay. I ordered French toast and sausage. When I attempted to eat the French toast, I realized it was as salty as the Dead Sea and the sausage had a terrible odor to it. I guess someone thought I deserved payback. I requested that housekeeping refresh my room but that never happened. When I took a shower the hot water lasted only a few minutes and then went cold for a few more minutes. It seems like there is something wrong with the system or it is programmed to limit hot water usage. Needless to say I won’t be staying at this location and it has eroded my confidence in the Hilton Brand as a whole.
