Excellent place to stop for a family of six with four children and two adults. Very nicely furnished. Only thing it needs is a microwave or a pot for the kitchen to boil water.

I Want To Stay!!!

This hotel is the best priced, cleanest, boutique style, local art, place that you will find in Taos. Guaranteed! The staff are utterly amazing, helpful, warm and welcoming. You will be thrilled that you chose to stay here. I know I sure was and did not want to stay. If I didn't have a very long destination point to get to, I would have chosen to stay.

Amazing remodel. Beautiful suite (Taos suite). Honestly can’t say enough good stuff. There were a few small minor issues with incidentals. Overall amazing stay.
Nice shower room with toilet. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap provided.

I’ve stayed at Taos Motor Lodge several times before and always found it to be a clean and comfortable spot, but this last visit was extremely disappointing—and will definitely be my last. We booked a room with two beds. One of the platform beds was broken and completely unusable, and the other had an uncomfortable springy mattress that made no sense for a platform with wooden slats. Not sure what kind of setup that is supposed to be, but it certainly didn’t make for a restful night. The quality has gone way downhill. The linens were so itchy we couldn’t sleep well, and the sofa looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. I reached out to complain, and instead of acknowledging the actual problem with the broken bed, the person responding via text just kept talking about the TV setup (which was also overly complicated and frustrating to use). My parents came along on this trip and were just as uncomfortable as I was. Nothing about this stay felt like the calm, cozy experience we used to have here. Really disappointed. Not coming back.

They had hardly any towels and left us with one set for 4 people on our last night. They required a security deposit which has still not been refunded and it’s been over 2 weeks since our stay. Can’t get ahold of anyone at the motel. It redirects you to some call center and they reach out to the property. Our PIN code for the door didn’t work but thankfully they gave us a key to use.

This lodging option is great value given the price. It’s a short drive to the plaza and stores. Like other guests mentioned, the walls are thin so you will hear other guests and traffic passing by. The only other downside for me was that the floors of my room were quite dirty. I brought my yoga mat to stretch on and there was a lot of dirt and hair on the floor that definitely wasn’t mine.
