Nice budget friendly hotel. Hot breakfast bar is a plus. A couple minor issues. The rooms are not cleaned daily, would love to have fresh towels daily and a restock of coffee. The room had a musty smell.

The staff was awesome. The hotel was dated. The neighborhood was questionable. The room was immaculate; the hallway not so much. The price was very reasonable. I was in the area for one night prior to the Illinois Marathon in Champaign and the hotel served the purpose. Would probably stay there again unless price went up.

This is a great value. Clean and kept up well in a historic building. Breakfast is decent. It’s definitely a bargain for what you get. Staff very helpful.

This is a diamond in the rough! The owner and staff are working hard to beautify the property and the building. Upon walking in, I could tell they were under minor construction, but when I got to my room I was amazed. As someone who lives out hotels 3-4 days a week for work, I have seen establishments where the people don’t care. This place is nothing like that. These folks are geared towards hospitality (something that is hard to find these days). The room was honestly the cleanest hotel room I’ve stayed in, in a long time. The shower actually had water pressure. The bed was much nicer than most, I finally slept through the night. The breakfast exceeded my expectations, comparing close to more upscale hotels. Food and shopping is within a 10 minute drive. It will be fun watching this hidden gem evolve into a shining light for tired travelers. I will definitely be staying here on a regular basis when in the area.
