Not very friendly staff at front desk when first got there. Pool was insanely cold and didn't look very clean. Beds were comfortable. I had booked a 2 queen room, but these were definitely standard full-size beds. Shower was very nice. Quiet room. Breakfast was ok.

Great location, EZ On/Off at I-90; very close to Starbucks, Michael's, WalMart, Pacific Rim Asian cuisine, downtown Rapid City, and fuel stops. Room with 1 King was small and bathroom was clean. There was no ice bucket, or plastic bags in trash cans so we used plastic grocery bags to collect discarded food containers. Furniture seemed 'sticky' so I washed with bath cloth. Credit Card-operated Laundry on ground floor was very convenient and clean. There was DAILY tour bus guests so breakfast was very busy, but plentiful food items of scrambled eggs & sausage; dry cereal; yogurt; fruit; coffee & tea. Staff is friendly.

Didn't like having to wait until 4 p.m. to check in unless I was willing to pay an extra $35. The small items often forgotten available for purchase and the paper plates and cutlery supplied when one bought some the food.

The refrigerator was not working properly it had several inches of ice on the sensor that we had removed to get it to cool. The manager said that the unit will not get extremely cold but it does as long as the sensor doesn't have ice on it. It looks like the room had not been used in quite some time we had no ice bucket or trash liners.
