On the edge of Muri village is a stylish oasis of calm, hospitality and value.

Starting from its large front covered veranda (perfect for watching the world go by), thru sliding doors the home opens up into the main living area with plush furnishings a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, and two extra single beds. On the mountainside of the home is the master bedroom ensuring a most serene sleep. Aito also boasts a second porch facing the mountains and Muri's jungle interior.

It's a twenty metre walk to Muri Lagoon, and a 15 minute walk to Rarotonga's best snorkeling area… the fruits of Rarotonga. Muri proper is again only 15 minutes away (but in the other direction) where you'll find  restaurants, stores the Pacific resort, internet cafes and of course more Muri lagoon.

Aito is ideally situated to be close enough to everything and far away enough from everything to make your stay as exciting or peaceful as you're in the mood for.

Our beach we spent a lot of time at Titikaveka. We found plenty of deep water to float about in and snorkel even when water was low

Outstanding accommodation with the best host

We saw before we booked a review that says, the photos don't do it justice and they are right! The place is beautiful, spacious. Mere is so generous, made us a beautiful salad & was so flexible with check out. We stayed in a resort and motel top during our time in raro, and hands down this was the best. We wish we'd stayed here the whole trip!

Great location and friendly hosts

The property is double storey but the downstairs are two totally separate apartments and the hosts live upstairs. There is plenty of parking. We were met by our hosts, Mere and Jean-Marc. Mere showed us into the apartment and then told us to let them know if there were any queries. There is a lounge/kitchen/dining area, a large bedroom with storage and a very large bathroom. The washing machine is outside and there are a couple of clothes lines. There is no aircon but a couple of ceiling fans and the slat windows, with fly screens, all open.The first day there was no gas but that was very quickly sorted out. Mere brought some beautiful food down to us which was so tasty. A great introduction to the local cuisine.You can see a small glimpse of the water from the apartment. But it's just a 5-minute walk to the beach and walking distance to a few restaurants, bars and cafes. It was a fabulous place to stay and we would be happy to stay there again.

Muri Apartment

We loved staying at this apartment. It is in a great location close to shops, the beach, restaurants, the Muri night markets and the Lagoon Cruises and KiteSup activities. The apartment was very clean and spacious. It was comfortable to stay in and had all the kitchen utensils needed to make meals. The outside patio was lovely to relax in after a day snorkeling. The owners lived upstairs and were welcoming, kind and generous. We would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again next time.

Beautiful apartment

When we arrived, in the middle of the night, we were surprised to find a nice banana cake in the fridge with some juice, milk and coffee for the morning! It was a very thoughtful as not everyone does. The place was very clean, spacious and with everything you need. The host was very welcoming, invited us for lunch and although we had already other plans, we did appreciated the invitation.A really nice and relaxing place where to spend the holiday!
