This hotel is situated in a lovely small town and in my opinion it is the central hub of the area. This hotel had everything and would be perfect for a weekend staycation. The restaurant and bar attached had amazing food, seating and atmosphere. You could spend the entire day on the property enjoying the place and amenities. Lovely hotel, excellent service and all staff so friendly and helpful. My husband uses a wheelchair and the hotel was generally pretty wheelchair friendly. No accessible rooms as such with grab rails etc. However, after speaking to a very helpful person at reception before booking, we booked a room with level access. It's a shame there's a huge step up to the shower, so my husband struggled with that. These rooms could be made accessible relatively easily if wanted. If that was done, we'd be happy to return as everything else was fantastic!
