We were very disappointed to learn upon check in that the pool was being renovated and wouldn’t be accessible. Our kids looked forward to swimming for days prior to our stay. I would have appreciated a phone call prior letting us know that the pool wasn’t available so I could have made a decision as to whether or not we would still be staying. The front desk clerk apologized many times, and it isn’t her fault at all, but transparency prior to us arriving in red deer would have been best. Maybe this is something they could do in the future.

Worst night that I’ve ever experienced at a hotel! There was a drunk domestic dispute in the hallway by my room where I was literally listening to a man beating a crying woman. I called the front desk for help, but was dismissed. The police were finally called, but not until I went to yell at the people to stop and go to the front desk myself to ask for help. The couple wasn't removed the first time, and continued to fight afterwards until 4am, at which point they were finally removed. I was only given $50 off of my stay for compensation, which in my opinion was unacceptable! As I didn’t sleep, nor did I feel safe while this was all taking place. Don’t stay here!
