We visited off season, so yes things are slower and they are gearing up renovations for the summer season. The bathroom was very cold because there are no vents in there. This is kind of expected since the hotel is older. We kept the door closed to keep the room warmer. Staff was friendly, inviting and very helpful. Yes I would recommend a stay here.

The ocean view and oceanfront location was amazing! But come prepared because there are no further amenities. No body wash, Q tips, cotton balls, thermostat, restaurant, bottled water, tea bags/hot water, paper towels in the kitchenette. But if beach proximity is your top goal, you’re traveling with kids and you pack well: it’s a good spot for that. Large room, nicely furnished. Great location near all of the downtown businesses accessible by walking the boardwalk.

Property was under construction in the parking areas. We could park on the street at this time of year, so it was ok. The staff was kind. The hotel amenities are basic, place to stay. There is a microwave and refrigerator in room. It is at the top of the boardwalk, completely walkable to the main boardwalk area. A little park behind the hotel with a pond was a nice break from the windy ocean side. Really worked for a quick weekend.
