Villa Althaea on upea maaseudun huvila, joka on levinnyt 3 tasoon ja kattaa yhteensÀ 145 m2, mukavasti majoittaen 5 vierasta sÀnkyihin ja jopa 6 henkeÀ tarvittaessa.

Pohjakerroksen huvilaan pÀÀsylle on avoin suunnitelma-alue koostui olohuoneesta ja ruokasalista sisÀtiloissa. Huone on viihtyisÀ, avotakka, satelliitti-TV, DVD-soitin, Xbox ja tarjoaa suoran pÀÀsyn uima-altaan terassille. LisÀksi tÀysin varustettu keittiö, jossa on korkealaatuisia kalusteita ja laitteita, tarjoaa kaiken mitÀ tarvitset itsepalvelulomaan.

Kaksi Villan makuuhuoneesta löytyy ensimmÀisestÀ kerroksesta, joista toisessa on parivuode ja pÀÀsy parvekkeelle, joka on varustettu patiohuonekaluilla, ja josta on kauniit nÀkymÀt merelle ja ympÀröivÀlle alueelle, kun taas toisessa on yhden hengen sÀnky. . Molemmat makuuhuoneet ovat ilmastoituja, ja niissÀ on myös TV. Kylpyhuone, jossa suihkukaappi ja vesihierontapylvÀs, löytyvÀt myös ensimmÀisestÀ kerroksesta.

Alemmassa kerroksessa tilavassa makuuhuoneessa on kaksi sÀnkyÀ (jotka voidaan yhdistÀÀ tarvittaessa suureksi parivuodeksi), vuodesohva, buduari ja TV. Villa Althaea -hotellin vieraat voivat nauttia upeista nĂ€kymistĂ€ merelle ja vuorille ympĂ€ri. TÀÀllĂ€ voit tuntea olosi mukavaksi kuin olisit omassa kotona lomallasi Kreetalla. Kauniisti maisemoidussa ulkoalueella on iso piha, kauniilla puutarhalla, joka ympĂ€röi villaa, hiiligrilli, 30 m2, oma uima-allas (1,00–1,60 m syvĂ€), ulkosuihku ja oma, varjostettu parkkipaikka. Uima-altaan terassilla on aurinkotuoleja, ruokapöytĂ€ varjostetulla alueella, samoin kuin mukava oleskelualue ulkona. Puutarhassa sypressit, jasmiinit, rosmariinit, laventelit, laakerit, althaea, ruusut ja muut paikalliset kreeta-kukat ja yrtit luovat idyllisen maiseman rentoutumiseen ympĂ€ri vuoden. Koko ulkoalue on tĂ€ysin yksityinen ja aidattu, ja tarjoaa vieraillemme tĂ€yden yksityisyyden.

The house itself was lovely, clean, well-equipped, lovely outside spaces with lots of options to sit and relax. The pool was great, we paid extra to have it heated and the whole family were in and out all week. Location was good, you need a car but there’s plenty to do in the area. Biggest bonus though was Eva and her incredible hosting, we arrived in the evening after a delayed flight to a beautiful home cooked meal, homemade cake and ann incredibly well stocked fridge. So completely beyond anything I’ve seen from a host before. She also provided a wealth of recommendations for places to eat, where to park, the best beaches to suit our young family. And even suggestions of what to do based on the weather. Thank you so much Eva for making our holiday super easy!

Villa near Loutra

The property was spacious, clean and well equipped. The beds were comfortable and the linen was cotton. The outside area is very well equipped and there are several shady places to sit. The pool was clean and a perfect t temperature. Towels were provide for both the beach and the pool which is very helpful When travelling light. Communication between Etouri and the owner were was excellent. We were contacted regularly to see if we needed anything and Eva the owner went out of her way to make suggestions for day trips and restaurants. They could not have been more helpful.

Perfect host, beautiful property and views

We stayed for a week - 2 teens, 2 65+ and 1 adult at Villa Althaea in Loutra, a 10 minute drive from Rethymno. The listing is very accurate. 2 bedrooms (incl master) and a shower room on the first floor, kitchen/diner and lounge on ground floor and downstairs large twin room with bathroom. Ping pong table also outside on lower floor. Covered parking and secure gates made you feel very secure and private. The villa was appointed with everything we needed, including shampoo and shower gels, towels for pool and bath. The communication with Etouri the villa company was first class - immediately after reserving and until checkout. They also offer an excellent complimentary concierge service and made us restaurant reservations etc. In addition, the villa owner Eva was so welcoming. Nothing was ever too much trouble for her. She welcomed us personally at the villa and had made homemade lasagna for our dinner, stocked the fridge with wine, milk, bread, butter and even ice creams in the freezer! During the week the pool and cleaning service came - fast and efficient and very friendly. Eva supervised again and even bought us more treats! And then she checked us out and was flexible with the time of our departure. We’ve never experienced such attention and service at any villa we’ve visited previously. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and stay again. The restaurant up the road deserves a mention - food is great and very reasonable, service friendly, portions huge.

Eva made our trip AMAZING!!!

The villa exceeded expectations! It was very clean when we arrived, and was cleaned multiple times during our stay (fast, efficient and friendly cleaning staff). It was very private and secluded. The rooms were very comfortable and homey. The best part of this Villa truly is the host we had, Eva. Eva is the definition of perfection! She was beyond accommodating, super sweet and friendly, saying she went above and beyond would be an understatement. Eva insured we felt at home and like family from the moment we walked in, all the way through our stay, and sent us off as a loving family member would. I would 100% pick this place again next time I visit. Thank you Eva!

Tolles Haus ! An alles wurde gedacht!

Wir fĂŒhlten uns von der ersten Minute an sehr willkommen. Die Übergabe war herzlich. Bei unserer Ankunft wartete sogar ein leckeres Essen und vieles mehr auf uns. Nach einer langen Reise und frĂŒhes Aufstehen, unbezahlbar. Wir waren sehr dankbar. Das Haus war fĂŒr uns perfekt. Es wurde an so vieles gedacht. Die Vermieterin fragte immer nach, ob was fehlte. Sie war immer erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit und gab sehr gute Tips fĂŒr AusflĂŒge und Restaurants. Unser Urlaub war wunderschön! Wir werden gerne wieder kommen!

Pure bliss

Villa Althaea was perfect, very clean, had everything and more you could possibly need. Loved the extra touches including a homemade lunch and cake left by the owner of the property welcoming us to Greece. So nice to have our very own private pool. Very sad to leave this beautiful villa. Only 1 restaurant within walking distance, so took a taxi to the beautiful Rethymno old town where there was loads of great restaurants and bars.

Wonderful Villa - superb holiday base

Arrived at Villa Friday evening, and greeted by hostess Eva who gave us a tour of property and had left us a meal and a bottle wine which was gratefully received as our outbound flight had been delayed. The Villa has stunning views of the countryside down to the coast. It is fully equipped with all that you need for a great vacation. During our stay Eva kept in touch and ensured we had all we needed, she gave us tips on restaurants and places to visit. The pool was amazing and was cleaned during our 7 day stay. We would definitely recommend the Villa. To fully make the most of stay and easily explore island I would recommend hiring a car. Although Rethymno town is a short taxi trip away - we paid €20 e/w

Absolutely perfect

Our first villa booking and extremely pleased we chose Villa Althea, Eva the owner was fantastic and very informative. We stayed for two weeks 30/07/23 to 13/08/23. The villa was cleaned on Tuesdays and Fridays including the pool. The property is modern airy and an extremely good size over 3 floors. With aircon in bedrooms. Everything you need is there a dishwasher, washing machine, iron, fridge freezer, bbq, table tennis table sun beds, list goes on. Eva treated us to may Greek cakes etc wont list as we were really surprised and I wouldn't want to spoil your surprises when you book. I say when as you won't be disappointed. You will need to hire a car though which you can park behind an electronic gate in the grounds:) The villa even has wifi netflix and prime so overall home from home :). There is a main road next to the property which occasionally produced road noise but not worth worrying about, we had a fabulous time.

Perfect Villa and lovely host

This is the second time we have stayed at a villa in Rethymno with the Etouri service and we would definitely do so again. The villa itself was exactly as listed, beautifully presented with everything needed and a great size for a family of 4 / 5. We spent hours by the pool and in the outdoor space relaxing and enjoying the fantastic sea views, and very quickly felt at home as all the rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. It is a little out of town which gave it a more relaxing feel and a car is preferable (and easily parked in the secure car port) but there were regular buses and a taxis can be easily arranged. There is also a lovely taverna about 5 mins walk away with a beautiful terrace, good value menu and a family feel. Eva the owner was the perfect host, making us feel at home from the outset with delicious homemade food awaiting us for our arrival and a well stocked fridge. She had great tips and was very responsive to any issues or questions throughout our stay and her farewell was as kind as her welcome. The Etouri concierge service provided the usual excellent service and were equally responsive and professional from booking to departure, giving that extra sense of security. If you’re looking for a lovely villa in central northern Crete to relax in, which comes with great service from the owner and the added peace of mind of a first class travel service, you will struggle to find a better one.

Wonderful stay

The house was perfect for a family of four. Very well equiped ( my son loved the Xbox). The pool and court were perfect to chill and the house is very well placed to visit the region. But what we enjoyed the most was the welcome from Eva : she was the most perfect host we ever had! She prepared a meal for the day we arrived, the fridge was full of good things to eat and she gave us a lot of tips to visit ! Encore un grand merci pour cette superbe semaine dans cette belle maison

Beautiful villa, exceeded expectations

The villa was amazing. The owner, Eva, is very welcoming and so generous (never had home made lasagne and cake on arrival before!). The outside area is perfect - many places to sit and enjoy the lovely sea view and beautiful sunsets, perfect pool and a ping pong table. Lots of lovely little details in the villa that make all the difference. The villa is also very well situated only 15/20 minutes to beautiful Rethymno, 1h to Heraklion and only 40 minutes to Preveli beach. We will definitely be back.

Tolles Haus mit Pool

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in vollen ZĂŒgen genossen. Der Empfang von Eva war Ă€usserst herzlich. Sogar Lebensmittel waren schon da sodass wir bereits den ersten Tag voll geniessen konnten! Das Haus ist gerĂ€umig, ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht und sehr schön gelegen. Der Aussenbereich ist sehr gross und der Pool ist einfach der Wahnsinn! Zwei Mal die Woche wurde das Haus gereinigt - toller Service! Das Internet ist schnell genug um zu Streamen. Hinter dem Haus ist eine weitere Villa. Trotzdem fĂŒhlt man sich als wĂ€re man alleine inmitten der schönen Natur Kretas - es ist sehr ruhig. Eva hat uns mit vielen Tipps bzgl. Restaurants und StrĂ€nden versorgt. So haben wir bereits am ersten Badetag unseren Traumstrand gefunden: Bali, ca. 25 Autominuten entfernt. Danke nochmals fĂŒr den tollen Urlaub. Wir konnten uns sehr gut erholen und die Insel erkunden!

Urlaub Villa Althaea

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung, sehr sauber, toller Pool, Meerblick. Ansprechpartnerin sehr zuvorkommend und extrem bemĂŒht, dass die GĂ€ste einen schönen Aufenthalt haben. Besser geht nicht!

Wonderful villa and perfect host

Villa Althaea lived up to all our expectations. Beautiful location, secluded and not overlooked. Easy to get to Rethymno within a few minutes. Lovely pool and plenty of space and areas of shade throughout the day. Villa had all the facilities you would expect and was a home away from home for the four of us. Must mention that etouri were very helpful and I can't say enough good things about, Eva, the wonderful owner of the villa. She was an amazing host. So helpful and generous to us. A wonderful holiday.

Beautiful stay!

In August 2019, my family and I visited Crete for the first time. We had a great stay. I love outdoors and this place made me want to be outside all day! Hanging by the pool, having dinners outside. Pool was great. My 8 year old had so much fun. We adults did two. Eva the host - was wonderful, 10 of 10 superior customer service! I travelled from Canada with my daughter to meet my parents here, and I was the first one to arrive. After a long journey, I came there, with full fridge, homemade lasagna and ice cream for my girl! Oh, let's not forget the vine! Just wonderful welcome. I felt save and good being there. That evening, we needed to test the pool and it was great, my daughter had endless energy and excited about this place!! I hope to be back in 2021 so hopefully this is place I get to stay again. Thank you Eva!!!

The lovely Villa Althea

Our flight was delayed so we arrived very late but the owner Eva was there to great us and totally welcoming. We do 3-5 villa holidays every year but have never known such amazing hospitality. The villa was perfect for the 2 of us especially the privacy around the pool for the all over tan. The view, the facilities, the accommodation, the fabulous shower upstairs, we loved the all. We also enjoyed the taverna just along the road. Thank you Eva and Kostas for making it a holiday to remember. My only word of caution is don’t book a jet ski safari unless you are sure it will be calm. We booked one in advance and it was very rough, a nightmare! But we really loved it all. David and Mark

TrÚs bon séjour prÚs de Réthymnon

Nous avons passĂ© une excellente semaine dans la villa Althaea qui dispose de tout le confort possible et d’une vue imprenable sur les hauteurs de RĂ©thymnon. Le seul bĂ©mol est son emplacement en bord de route mais cela n’a en aucun cas nuit Ă  notre tranquillitĂ© (prĂ©voyez Ă©ventuellement des boules Quies la nuit pour les plus sensibles au bruit). La propriĂ©taire est vraiment adorable, aux petits soins et disponible. Ses conseils se sont avĂ©rĂ©s trĂšs prĂ©cieux. Nous gardons de magnifiques souvenirs de notre sĂ©jour et n’avons qu’un seul regret : avoir dĂ» rentrer !

We have been on many villas over the years and would fully recommend this one The owner is a delight so helpful The villa is clean the pool was fantastic The location was great with views over the sea Restaurants around which are less expensive than in town A car is a must This is one of the best villas we have stayed and we will be back
