Great historic location - not far from Revelstoke BC so it is a great base to explore the area in the summer - the old town museum attached to the property was an awesome add on to my trip. Lake was a refreshing swim!

We have been driving past this chateau for decades and finally decided to book ahead on our most recent trip from Calgary to Vancouver Island. Well worth the wait - welcoming staff in a place that time seems to have forgot. Three Valley Gap is a functioning nostalgia machine.

Needs some TLC even with its rustic charm it needs some updating. The mattress is from the 1990s and had springs popping me regularly.

This is a very unique hotel and property that felt like stepping into a different world. There is a lot to explore in the hotel itself and the grounds provide great access to the lake. We didn’t have the time to explore the ghost town unfortunately but it looks cool and is right next door. Restaurant staff were very nice and graciously accommodated my request to turn off the music for my autistic child.

The property itself is gorgeous and the rooms have stunning views. However, the beds are horribly uncomfortable and because they have no a/c the rooms get very hot. The only way to cool the room down is to sleep with the balcony door open, but, as the hotel is right along a busy highway, you’re then stuck listening to semis driving by all night long. There is a games room attached to the pool area that was quite fun, including table tennis and indoor hopscotch. The pool itself is in much need of attention. There is a layer of grime on the tiles around the pool, and there are a handful of tiles missing from a section of the pool. The ghost town was by far our favourite thing about the property. With so much to explore and read about, you could easily spend a few hours walking the town. The restaurant has something for everyone and the food was pretty good. Overall, we are glad we stayed a night to give the impressive-looking hotel a try; although, we would not be quick to stay again due to the uncomfortable beds, hot or loud rooms, and the cleanliness really needs work.

Very fascinating place. The museum / town will take 1-2 hours to go through and definitely worth the cost. The views are lake Louise ish and the ability to use water equipment for free or low cost is fantastic! Only down fall I would say is, do not go here if your are expecting great food. Very basic diner type food but overpriced and not very good

Property is super unique. The rooms are dated and definitely not sound proof, as with most hotels, but not uncomfortable. The pool area is small and dated, but the titanic theme was cute, the water was warm and the kids had fun. The gardens are beautiful as is the lake. The added bonus option of walking through the ghost town is so fun. It's much bigger than it looks from the outside and we really enjoyed it. Guests get a discounted access which is also nice. Rates were reasonable. The only downside is that reviews for the restaurant were bad and therefore we didn't eat there. Would have been nice to have an option for food as you're somewhat secluded for 30-40 mins either direction. Overall it was fun and we are glad to have experienced our stay.
