This light and stylish holiday cottage offers spacious accommodation for up to ten guests, making it the perfect retreat for nature lovers and avid walkers exploring the peaceful beaches and enchanting countryside of Suffolk. Located in the heart of the picturesque village of Walberswick, just across the River Blyth from Southwold, this cottage is ideally positioned for easy access to everything the area has to offer. Tucked away on a private lane behind the charming village green, it is just a short walk from Walberswick’s stunning dune-backed sandy beach. A popular spot for crabbing, Walberswick also boasts a selection of welcoming pubs, cafes, and local shops. A foot ferry across to Southwold takes you to the cheerful seaside town with a bustling harbour, model yacht pond, working lighthouse, a beach lined with colourful huts, and a impressive pier. Set within the stunning Suffolk and Essex Coast and Heaths National Landscape, the cottage is also perfectly placed to explore nearby attractions, including RSPB Minsmere, Leiston Abbey, and the Southwold Maize Maze, all within a 10-mile radius. This inviting home features a spacious lounge with a central dual-aspect wood burner, a Smart TV, and three French doors that flood the room with light and open directly into the garden. The bright, stylish kitchen/diner is a wonderful space for family meals, with plenty of high-quality equipment, ample storage, a sociable dining table, and bifold doors that run the full length of the room and open onto the sun terrace. The ground floor also includes a useful boot room, a peaceful study with a desk and a library of books, a useful bathroom, and the first two bedrooms: a cosy bunk room (children only) and an adjoining relaxing double bedroom. Upstairs, you'll find a separate bathroom and shower room, along with three more generously sized bedrooms, each with plenty of storage. The king-size room boasts bifold doors and a Juliet balcony, while the two double rooms offer serene sea views. Outside, the spacious enclosed garden is perfect for unwinding, with a pretty lawn, a relaxing patio area complete with a hot tub, BBQ, and multiple seating spots. Whether enjoying a peaceful morning coffee or dining al fresco in the summer sunshine, there’s no shortage of tranquil spots to enjoy the outdoors. Parking for two cars is available.
