Good Basic Hotel

The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. The room was cleaned daily and in a good state of repair. Towels were provided and the breakfast was good (including a large amount of smoked salmon!). The location is away from the city centre (20 minute walk), but it is easy to walk this distance and we found it quite pleasant to do so. This is an extremely good value stay.

Good value in an expensive town

The hotel is a student residence turned into a hotel for the summer, which is common enough in Iceland. That being said, the facilities were good: private bathroom & kitchenette in the room. Clean, friendly, and with a decent breakfast buffet (more than just a continental breakfast). Given how expensive Reykjavik is in general, this hotel gives great value for what it is. It is NOT downtown, and you'll have a decent half-hour walk into the centre or a five-minute drive, although pretty close to the bus terminal.

Fint og billigt hotel til transfer-overnatning

Hotellet ligger få minutter fra Reykjavik City Airport or er fint hvis man kommer sent ind til Keflavik og skal videre tidligt om morgenen med indenrigsfly fra City Airport. Værelset var stort og rent. Betjeningen var meget fleksibel (sørgede for special morgenmad til os 30 minutter før alle andre, da vi skulle meget tidligt afsted)

Un très bon rapport qualité prix!

L'hotel est situé dans ce qui est une résidence universitaire le reste de l'année. Du coup les chambres sont de vrais studio, avec kitchenette. Repeinte apparemment en début d'été car l'état est impeccable. Notre chambre avait un balcon avec vue sur la mer.
