Second time we stayed here on our trip. Was very conveniently located right next to KEF airport. Took only 13min to get right to the drop off at the airport. Super clean. Nice updates to the second unit we stayed in.

Peaceful Seaside Stay Near Keflavik

We stayed in a cozy seaside cottage near Keflavík, and it was the perfect way to end our trip to Iceland. The location was peaceful and beautiful, with views of the ocean and a nearby lighthouse — a truly relaxing setting. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and just a short drive to the airport — we caught our early morning flight with no issues. We had a small problem with the Wi-Fi, but the owner responded quickly and resolved it right away, which we really appreciated. We also loved the nearby restaurant, which served delicious food in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Overall, a great stay! We’d definitely return and recommend it to anyone needing a quiet, scenic place near Keflavík.

Property was really nice. Only thing I would recommend would be a window blind on the window by the table. The sun was brutal we couldn’t eat there. But everything else was nice. Love the abundance of hot water

Great place to crash close to the airport

Comfy unit, 15 mins from the airport. Well equipped. Lots of room. Top floor apartment. You can see the lighthouse from the kitchen window. The handheld shower attachment is broken and sprays water haphazardly. Drain is narrow and does not allow shower use with the spigot fully open.

Too noisy

Nice apartment, great location, well equiped and warm. Hpwever, inadequate soundproofing means you can hear what your neighbours are doing all the time. My neighbours on one saide were up until nearly 3am the first night, so I wasn't able to get to sleep until then either. On the second night, some people turned up at around 2am making a lot of noise outside. They were then outside making even more noise the following morning, shouting and playying very loud music from their car. All in all, I'd be reluctant to stay here again.

Wonderful and cozy, lower level home. I arrived on a red eye flight, and there were no transportation options. I had to rent a car; very expensive. Not the property’s fault, but it’s not on the taxi route. It was very windy, and there was a crashing metal sound all night. I went out in the cold to find a strip of sheet metal loose on a shed roof near the bedroom window. I put an old tire lying near by on it. After sharing the issue and then an update after the fix, I never received a response. Nice place under normal hours, but would have appreciated a follow up for the loss of sleep and original request for help with the late arrival.

We had a great stay in this apartment. It was furnished with everything we needed, and was very comfortable. The staff was good at communicating the information we needed and quick to respond. It’s also very close to the airport so it was the perfect place for our last night in the country.

Our group of 5 adults only stayed one night before catching an early morning flight, but it was great. Very comfortable rooms and beds, with a nice kitchen. Everything looked fresh and recently remodeled - with new kitchen appliances. The communication with the property owner was perfect; we locked our keys inside the unit and called the owner, who answered immediately, the owner answered our phone immediately and within a few minutes let us in - and was very friendly about it. We loved looking out our bedroom window and seeing a horse staring back at us! We wish we could have stayed here longer.

Good property if staying for one night if you have an early morning flight as it is not too far from the airport. Had a few issues during our stay that the owner promised to take care of. This property has great potential if the owner adds a washer/ dryer, electric iron and removes the medicine cabinet from above the sink.
