Great hotel, good location only a short drive to Reykjavik with free parking. Self check-in worked fine, didn't see any staff during our stay which was fine. Room was kitted with basic kitchen facilities and plates, cutlery etc, very useful if you don't want to go out for expensive meals every day. Only complaint was the not very pleasant smell that came from the kitchen sink and shower.

Very basic studio apartment

Pros: Free wi-fi
Cons: Someone in the office during the day. Contactable only by phone
Location: Supermarket and restaurants very close. Good bus service to Reykjavik city centre
Calling this a studio apartment is a stretch of the imagination, It was the size of an average hotel room but with kitchenette crammed in. However, given that Iceland is a very expensive destination, it was a budget price and fairly comfortable.

Never get this hotel if you don't have a car

The hotel was fine situated across the road from a supermarket however it was an hour and a half quick walk to the BSI bus station. I'm sure it said there was tea and coffee in the room but there wasn't. the tiny bin never got emptied and we filled it a lot. the little kitchen area was great and it was nice to have a table and a sofa. The leaflets in the enterance and in the room were really helpful. Please be aware that if you stay here and book excursions generally they will not pick you up from these apartments you will need to walk to BSI bus station and the takes about 1.30hours

Couples break

Emailed 3 times requesting codes to access hotel and for key safe number but did not receive a response. This massively let down the hotel, such a shame because the rest was great

Apartment was easy to access and really near to the city. The apartment was clean and smelled really good. The view was okay and you have a lot of options to go shop your food etc nearby. The only thing that was not so good was that the television was on the right side of the bed and not in front of the bed. They even have a Netflix account for you on there 🤗

Ok perusmajoitus

Huoneisto on järkevän matkan päässä Reykjavikin keskustasta, mikäli on vuokra-auto käytössä. Varustelutaso ei ole mikään erikoinen, mutta astiat, mikro, jääkaappi, liesi ja suomalaiselle tärkeä kahvikeitin löytyy. Huoneisto oli siisti ja siivoojat kävivät joka toinen päivä. Sitten huonot puolet. Huoneisto sijaitsee todella vilkkaasti liikennöidyn tien varressa ja yösin koimme tämän häiritseväksi. Lisäksi huonestoissa ei ole liesituulettimia ja tästä johtuen viiden oleskelupäivämme aikana sattui kaksi palohälytystä, koska eräät asukkaat polttivat ruuan pohjaan ja käry laukaisi hälytyksen. Erikoista on, että kummallakin kertaa paikalle tuli vartija toteamaan hälytyksen syyn, ei palokunta. Ehkä tätä siis tapahtuu useasti kyseisessä paikassa...

Stadtappartement

Cons: Überprüfung der Zimmerausstattung
Location: Buswendeplatz in 3 Min. Gehweg bringt einen in fast jeden Zipfels Reykjaviks
Ankunft erfolgte etwas holprig, da die Parksituation direkt vor dem groß gekennzeichneten Gebäude fast unmöglich schien. Wir haben uns dann mit etwas Auffindglück für die ruhigen Hinterhausparkplätze entschieden, welche einen minimalen Fussweg hatten. Der Schlüssel für das Appartement befand sich unmittelbar vor der Zimmertür gesichert mit eine 4-stelligen Code, welcher neben den Haustürcode bei Buchung übermittelt wurde. Personal haben wir in während unserer drei Übernachtungen keines angetroffen. Das Zimmer selbst besitzt eine kleine Küchenzeile mit einer leicht abgenutzten Standardausstattung, Bad mit ersten Fliesenbruchstellen und Dusche. Scheinbar geht nicht jeder Gast so sorgsam mit der Appartementausstattung um oder es werden sehr viele Gäste jährlich begrüsst, welche natürlich ihre Spuren hinterlassen.

Islanti on kallis maa, joten halpa hotelli oli hyv

Merinäköala, bussilla 10 min keskustaan ja peruskauppa vieressä. Ei mitään ylimääräisiä palveluita, kuten respa tai aamupala. Avaimia oli vain yksi, mikä rajoitti menemisiä. Huoneessa keittiö ja tv. Toimiva ja siisti ratkaisu ilman mitään ylellisyyksiä. Grey Linellä (bussiyhtiö) pääsi lentokentältä lähibussipysäkille ja sieltä takaisin kentälle.
