Great location, very friendly staff, delicious breakfast, functional gym. They made us wait until exactly 2pm to check in, but in fairness, they were completely full and have us spa access since our second room wasn't ready. Breakfast each day was fresh and delicious. Bora was so friendly, she even came outside to show me how to work the parking meters. That's going above and beyond in my opinion. You can walk to everything in downtown Reykjavik. Lots of restaurant choices. The gym was functional so better than nothing and you can get a solid workout in with dumbbells. One of our rooms was very spacious and new, the other was on the smaller side and a little dated but both were very clean. Great hotel.

Best experience! All started with the most friendly faces at the front desk! We just had a bad experience at nearby Midtown Hotel…where they gave us a room and we actually were given access to a room that someone was in! Despite all of that. Center Hotels front staff made it right! Apologized for our bad experience and gave us an upgraded room, free breakfast, and the overnight manager even prepared an early breakfast for us since we had to leave early! That is service! Rooms were clean and amenities were perfect, I even went downstairs and asked for an adapter to charge my American phone and they had one! All in all I would visit Iceland again just to say hi to the staff and stay at this hotel! Thanks guys! Big 5 Stars!

This was a beautiful, boutique hotel. We felt welcomed, and loved how walkable restaurants, and local stores were. Parking is paid via an app if one rents a car like we did.

The hotel is in walking distance to all nearby attractions and stores. We had originally booked a deluxe room but upon entering our room, there was a huge bathtub right in the center of the room in a diagonal position. This is not shown in the pictures so do not be fooled when booking (they said can give either a room with a seating area or the bathtub). I called front desk to sort it out and they were willing to downgrade me to a standard room and refund for the extra charge. Please do your research before booking!

Very expensive. Small rooms. did not clean our room after a long day on a tour...had to ask for that. No AC. Had to open windows at night and the streets partied until 3 am. Could not sleep. Bed 2' off the floor?? Nothing good here.
