We are a Family of 4 that visited from Scotland for 3 nights. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Very central. We had a rental car but plenty of parking available nearby, just download parka app to pay for parking.

We loved the Reykjavík Residence Hotel as our apartment was great and the staff helpful and friendly. The breakfast baskets and freshly baked bread every day were fabulous, great variety, healthy and more than enough! We additionally regularly made sandwiches from all that was provided. This place is a must stay!

Our room was very clean and staff were very friendly. Facilities were good, there was a laundry room available in the main reception building although it was very hard to find a time when the machines were not all in use. We were somewhat disappointed with noise coming through into our room from the one above. We also did have some issues with the soap in the bathroom running out and not being refilled by housekeeping. However, the refilling of milk and juice for the morning was excellent.

It was our second time staying here, and we loved it once again! The breakfast is incredible and provides plenty for lunch or late night snacks. It’s always so clean and comfortable and well located. Everything, including the bus stop, is nearby. We’ve stayed in two different buildings now and were happy in both. We hope to come back next year!

The apartment hotel we stayed at the reception building, which is very convenient and close to Main Street. The room is fine as i expected, but only a bit shocked just the way walking through to my room from lift, it’s freezing cold, looks like out of part of hotel.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in. We has the family suite - really well equipped, beautifully furnished, great space and a lovely breakfast basket each day placed in the fridge and fresh bread each morning. We could sit and enjoy our breakfast when we wanted which was really nice. Great Nespresso machine too!

The location was fantastic (Prime Ministers Residence) and the accommodation was superb. The breakfast basket was brilliant, brought every afternoon so a nice surprise each day for the next morning and then fresh bread every morning. Honestly faultless service

Our stay at the Residence Hotel was perfect - having a little apartment made us feel like we lived in Reykjavik! The property and room were clean, well maintained, and nicely furnished. It is directly off of the main road so plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. We signed up for the daily breakfast, which was amazing. Some of the best bread and cheese we've ever had. We will return again!

We absolutely loved our stay. As a family of four with two older children, the location was ideal—within easy walking distance of most major sights, especially Hallgrímskirkja. There were plenty of dining options nearby, and having a Bónus grocery store just steps away was incredibly convenient. Our unit was modern, clean, and very comfortable. It featured a main bedroom with a queen-size bed and a sofa bed in the living area, which worked perfectly for our family. The bathroom was spacious, and we appreciated the well-designed kitchen area integrated into the living space, complete with a small dining area. While we could hear the howling wind outside at times, it was never an issue. We used our own speaker to play sleep music, and the hotel thoughtfully provided earplugs as well. The staff were truly exceptional, and we couldn’t have asked for better service. They made our stay even more enjoyable.
