Great stay, lovely clean rooms and great staff who are very helpful. Breakfast was lovely too. Hotel location is super convenient, near 2 bus stops so good for excursions and airport collection/drop off.

The perfect stay

We stayed here 3 nights in February & had a great time. The location of the hotel is perfect & within walking distance of city centre, close enough to walk to the fish statue & the church. The staff were friendly & very helpful when we needed their assistance. The rooms were very clean on arrival & kept that way every-time we got back to the hotel, the rooms are also spacious enough as we were out all day then just came back to sleep. The breakfast was really good, plenty of selection & a nice touch having the waffle maker, it was super tasty.

Property is reasonably close to the waterfront to head down for aurora pictures. Also short walking distance to Main Street and various food options. Rooms/bathroom a little small and the free breakfast not that great compared to hotels we have recently stayed in.

Skuggi hotel was a great place to stay at in Reykjavik. It was a quick 10 minute walk to the proper downtown area, with lots of shops and restaurants. Only issue was the water pressure was very low, but the morning breakfast was great each day. Hotel employees were very nice and helpful.

Great location not far from the seafront and many good places to eat. The room was very comfortable and breakfast was also good. Would stay here again if I ever return to Iceland.

Our third time at Skuggi. It's an excellent hotel with a nice breakfast. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The location is easily walkable and mass transit it close as well
