This apartment was absolutely beautiful, very clean, modern, well-equipped, and ideally located in a great part of Reykjavík. We rented a car, parked right under the building, made breakfast in the lovely kitchen most days, then got out to enjoy everything Iceland had to offer, returning home to walk to a choice of nearby restaurants at night. It was perfect. The check-in process is easy, but not onsite. The host was very responsive (but we barely needed him). And the only thing I would like to have planned ahead for was the high cost of convenient parking. I highly recommend this property!

The host canceled 1.5 hours ahead of check in. We were at the grocery store buying groceries when we found out. Had to last minute book a crappy hotel after arriving at 0441 and not allowed to check in early, by the host. Wasted an entire day waiting on the host.
