Lobby was clean and breakfast bar was good/typical. They changed the menu daily to help keep it from feeling boring. But they also had some items like waffles, fruit and yogurt daily. Our rooms on the other hand, weren't that great. We booked our stay with joined rooms, as we were there with a team for an event at the Convention Center. We were on the same floor, but at opposite sides of the floor. The cabinet that held the mini fridge, the cabinet door was falling off. There was severe water damage to the base of the cabinet from the fridge leaking for a long time. It was still leaking on our items, thankfully covered, as we used it. During our 4 night stay, one room was half serviced, took our trash and towels. While the other room was never touched. But, the biggest thing was that our AC unit broke down and was never fixed. It worked for the first night, but died by morning. We had gone to the front desk twice a day, once when we left for our event and once when we came back. Each time, the employee had no idea we were having problems. As for customer service, i truly felt bad for the front desk. They did try to contact maintenance to check our unit. They offered many discounts. And even offered to move us to another room, not joined, but couldn't guarantee that it would be any better. Over all, we did not enjoy our stay. The AC unit being the worst. As it made it very uncomfortable and we did not get any sleep or rest, hindering our performance at our event.

Nice big room. But confusing thermostat. Was cold in the room and no extra blankets and only one thin bedspread. No water pressure in shower. That surprised me because it was BAD. Breakfast good but the kitchen was a mess and the fruit was very old. Fun to walk seeing and see the Capitol. But then when we returned we had to step over homeless. What?? Staff very nice and friendly.

Checking in was uncomfortable, no real customer service skills were used on us. Our room was clean however incredibly dusty. The vent above the bed covered in dust the wall acroos from it, the lamp shades, the drapes by the bed. HILTON, THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DONT CLEAN ROOMS EXCEPT WHEN REQUESTED! Stating you only respond to housekeeping requests unless you stay 5 nights is absurd. Hilton, a brand with billions of dollars is now cutting corners with cleaning and simply not making jobs available for communities in which you make money…shame on Hilton for this ridiculous change in CLEANING.

It was a meh stay. Unfortunately I caught the overstimulated version of one of the front desk staff. I understand it was a big weekend and they were busy, so I dismissed it. The room was surface clean and the couch was full of stains so I was not going to sit there. The office chair was full of dog hair. For the one night it was fine, had it been any other time I would have requested a different room.
