The room smelled horrible! We were in a pet friendly room and had our dog with us, but when we walked in to the room, it smelled awful- like cat pee! We would not recommend the hotel if you’re bringing a pet.

Price was much higher than other hotels in the area. Only stayed here because of vacancy. Rooms need updating and beds were failry uncomfortable. Hotel had some funky smells going on when we checked in...must have been the end of a long work week.

The staff was very kind and welcoming. The rooms themselves were a bit outdated and need to be redone. There were quite a few things that need to be replaced or fixed. When we 1st got to our room we had to let the front desk know our sink was not draining. They sent someone to fix it. The shower drain was clogged and my husband had to unclog it by pulling out all the hair and gunk build up in it. When trying to call the front desk from the room nobody answered the phone so I had to walk down to tell someone about the issues in our room. The breakfast options were a little disappointing as well. I was looking forward to making waffles but that wasn't an option.

I was very disappointed. We had stayed here just 2 years ago and the place was above average. This time, definitely not! We traveled with a small dog, same as last time, and the floor they had us stay on just stunk! It smelled like dog pee covered in cleaning fluid. Unfortunately our room was the same, just not as bad. Not to mention the poorly patched holes in the walls and the broken bathroom door handle. The beds are old and really uncomfortable. It was just dismal. They apparently don't reinvestment a lot of money in maintaining this property. Here's a suggestion, do not have carpets in the halls and rooms in pet friendly areas! Not to mention the pet rooms are on the top floor so if your pet has an emergency they will have to hold it to go down the hall, wait for the elevator, take the ride to ground floor then go out the door. I'd put money on fact that accidents happen often enough to be the reason for the smell. I won't stay here again(unless it's renovated), and I wouldn't recommend this to a traveler with a pet.
