Although Sjusjøen is best known for skiing, there are many other exciting winter activities to explore such as snow rafting, kiting, sledding and dog sledding. Stores and restaurants are within walking distance. For cultural experiences, it is worth taking a trip to the Olympic city of Lillehammer, which is only a 30-minute drive from Sjusjøen. Here you can experience, among other things, the Hunderfossen Ice Cathedral.
