I found that this hotel was at the excellent location, close to all amenities, had a good restaurants and of course close to Copacabana beach! It was very convenient to step out and enjoy the day in the hotel’s neighbourhood. At the same time, overall it wasn’t very expensive option, it had quite acceptable price. Room was comfortable, bed was excellent, however I found it a bit more noisy than expected, you can easily hear the noises in the hallway. On the other hand, that has never happened after hours, so that didn’t bother me much. Breakfast buffet was very good, with lots of choices, and very decent hours of operations, you could always squeeze in the breakfast, since it was open at 6-10am. On the other hand, roof top bar with the swimming pool is a gem! I loved spending time there, it has several seating options, nice tanning area at the top floor, and small but refreshing swimming pool on the 14th floor. Food is decent to grab a bite if you are hungry, and drinks were phenomenal. I recommend a stay here as a very good option for your next stay in Rio!

Right in the middle of Copacabana Beach.. clean friendly hotel. Breakfast was excellent with staples everyday. Plus different days various other foods.overall excellent stay. Local bars and foods plentiful very near vicinity

A lovely and very well kept hotel right on coppocana beach. The view from the top two floors is incredible as was the absolutely awesome breakfast that was included with my stay everyvery day. Although everyone was warm and welcoming 3 folks, especially stand out. Nancy, when she did her best to make sure I could be comfortable after I arrived very early at the hotel, Ronan, again front desk seemed able to err, insert every question I threw at him from a great place for dinner to getting a sim card and finally tall gentleman who works at the bar area upstairs by the pool, who grabbed 3 towels and escorted me to a lounge chair on the top deck so I could gab a nap after flying for 27 hours. I wish I could remember his name.

Writing this as a Brazilian who lives in the U.S. This hotel is clearly neglected. The room I originally booked—a double twin—was disgusting and completely uninviting. Because of this, I upgraded to their so-called “luxury” room, which was still very disappointing, especially for a hotel advertised as 4-star. The furniture was visibly damaged on the corners, reinforcing the overall neglected feel. There was mold on the shower trim, no face towels (commonly used for bathing), and the bathroom only provided liquid soap and a 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner. The floors were filthy—my feet were black every night after showering. Rooms did not include an iron or ironing board and these had to be requested. They were signed out with a strict one-hour limit, which felt excessive and inconvenient. Basic amenities expected at this price point were missing throughout the stay. During our visit, the air conditioner was turned off multiple times while we were out. With Rio temperatures in the 90s (30°C+), items in our room began melting and had to be stored in the fridge. While the room wasn’t hot, it became warm, humid, sticky, and uncomfortable. The AC also leaked water from the intake overnight, which we had to manage until maintenance was called the next morning. The lack of complimentary water was frustrating, especially in a city where public drinking water isn’t readily available. At a cost of R$1200 (about $223 at the time), this rate is absolutely ridiculous
