The place is a mess, horribly dirty, the room felt clean, but was in very poor conditions, bathroom is pretty old, electrical outlets were just wires sticking out of the wall in some parts, bedsheets had a hole, mattresses were bad... but was also cheap. I can't expect much from a cheap place, but, the pictures here are way better than what you're getting, I'd say stay away,

Atlantico Star was a convenient hotel to stay in the copacabana zone. It was a functional hotel where everything feels old, but still works very good. The place definitily needs an upgrade to more moderns facilities becausa it has a good potencial. Instead this, i do not have anyproblem with my stay and the price payed was less than other hotels in the area.

dirty room, dirty toilet, run down. the first night I was there the electricity went out for the whole hotel. but only the hotel. the surrounding areas all still have their electricity. I was on the 6th floor and had to walk up the stair in the dark in the summer heat. the next day, the electricity was still out. I couldn't not get my passport out of the safe because it has an electronic keypad. I had to walk down and up to the front desk to get help. 3 trips down and up and over an hour later, they got a guy to come open up the safe for me to get my passport. Originally, I was going to stay there for 3 nights but I had to forfeit the 2 remaining nights to find another hotel

Pior experiência que já tive em hopedagens. Estado deplorável que o hotel se encontra. Nenhuma manutenção é feita em anos, está apenas retardando o fechamento. Problemas nas reservas, estava a trabalho junto com mais 2 pessoas com as quais as reservas não foram cumpridas, tiveram que procurar outra hospedagem de última hora. Mas acabaram que se hospedaram muito melhor que eu, apenas por não estarem hospedados neste hotel. Durante todo o período da minha estadia não pude sequer entrar em meu quarto com minha chave, nenhuma vez, pois a fechadura estava com problemas e não aceitava nenhum cartão, tinha que ficar esperando funcionários da manutenção para acessar com um dispositivo, que mesmo assim tomava muito tempo. E em momentos chegava tarde, após as 22h e a espera para entrar no meu quarto chegava a 40 minutos. Tomadas do quarto todas expostas e quase nenhuma funcionava. Os ralos do banheiro estavam entupidos, então toda vez que tomava banho o banheiro virava uma piscina. Reclamei todos os dias e a capacidade do hotel não suporta os turistas. A espera para conseguir usar o elevador é gigantesca. Ou seja, muitos problemas, instalações extremamente velhas e em estado decadente. Péssima experiência. Pagar por essa estadia, foi no mínimo um insulto.

Apesar da localização fenomenal, repleta de lojas nos arredores e proximidade à praia, a experiência foi péssima: o quarto estava infestado de mofo, a equipe de funcionários pouco solícitos, o banheiro estava entupido e no café da manhã não havia diversidade de opções, nem sequer mesa para acomodar todos os presentes. Tenebrosa a estadia.
