It’s doesn’t have any coffee bar in the room, nor free water. Checking in also took a long time. Aside from those, the hotel is nice.

A lovely hotel just one block back from the beach. The rooms are spacious and clean. The roof top bar and pool are great. My only slight negative is the staff at the roof top bar weren’t very friendly and I had to go to the bar to order food even though they were just stood around chatting. Reception staff were great.

The hotel was fine overall and we appreciated being allowed to use the pool before check-in. However, for a 4-star property the service fell short. No bathrobe or slippers in the room, breakfast I had paid for was not honored at check-in, and staff didn’t mention that beach chairs and umbrellas were included—I only found out from other guests. Communication needs improvement.

Good location for family and close to the beach. The hotel itself could use a facelift. The room was dark and old with things falling apart. Not enough elevators for the amount of people in the hotel. The positive was the breakfast. A lot of options to choose from but it was very crowded for most of the morning. The staff was very nice, cordial and helpful. The rooftop has a nice view and I wish that’s where breakfast was served.

Lovely hotel 5 minutes walk from Leme beach which is a very safe area Plenty of restaurents & shops ( supermarkets) close to hotel Small rooftop pool thats hardly used due to beach location Decent size room , nice hot shower , good wifi only downside is poor tv channels no english news channel A special mention to the lovely raquel on reception who booked me 2 football matches to attend & a favela tour

Location was good but property was bad. We arrived earlier and even though the room was ready when we asked to check in early and we were charged a whole nights stay. But the room they charged us for was dirty and stank. We asked 3 times for this to be resolved, but the room wasn’t cleaned properly until 24 hours later. On that basis I don’t feel we should have been charged. The problems with the room was continuing, the bathroom had no ventilation, there black mould on the walls, the room is never cleaned properly, you cannot open windows for proper ventilation so there is a continuing odd smell in the room, our safe kept breaking, the room walls are like paper so there is a lot of noise. The rooftop is nice but two evenings I wanted a drink at the roofto but wasn’t able to use it because there were other parties up there. I wouldn’t choose to stay here again

Overall I had a good experience. The hotel is in a great location and accessible to the nearby neighborhoods such as Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, etc. The front desk staff, especially Thales was amazing, friendly, and helpful! Storing our luggage before check-in and after check-in was great. He even directed me to an area to change my clothes since we arrived well before check-in time. The service on the rooftop is incredibly SLOW so be prepared to wait for your food for a long time! The male waiter and pool/towel guard isn’t the most friendly either. The rooms were clean but there’s noticeable areas of improvement to bedding and shower tiles. I didn’t feel uncomfortable so that was an advantage regardless of some of the interior wasn’t great. There were NO bugs in our room nor any seen on the property so disregard those reviews. The neighborhood is safe and the street the hotel is located on was safe! I never felt unsafe even standing in front on late nights waiting for Ubers. Breakfast was good and well stocked everyday! Hotel provided beach chairs which was a plus!
