The temp control in the room never shut off. The fan was reasonably loud. Decent accommodations and the area is nice. It would be a great winter getaway with the skyway and subway/walking tunnels you could have fun in the tundra and never leave a 68 degree indoor city.

I used this property as I was being seen by the Mayo Clinic. If I had significant mobility issues I would absolutely stay here again, as it is joined to the clinic, and so convenient. Otherwise, I’d stay somewhere else, with updated rooms, better water temperature, and newer rooms that are better able to get clean.

We were moved from an accessible room to a totally unfit room. Could not bathe. No grab bars for handicapped anywhere. Prior to our stay I called to guarantee handicapped facilities.

We called for a handicapped room and got one with a tub. Oh my. Then they gave us a walk in shower. We had to add a night and got a room with no handicap features. They just didn’t get it. Thought nearness to the first one was sufficient. So no bathing for us I guess.

The hotel itself is beautiful. The room was average. It was cold and could ot seem to be controlled or improved wit the thermostat in the room. The lighting in the bathrrom was poor.

The room was clean. There weren’t any bath towels in the room. We asked for them and were told they would bring them right up. We waited a half hour and then went down to the desk and had to ask for them there. Then after about 40 minutes, there was a knock on the door with towels.

Room was very clean and comfortable. I was in town for appointments at Mayo and the Kahler Grand Hotel’s location and access to Mayo was so convenient. We will be back and will definitely book with the Kahler Grand Hotel again. I would also recommend this hotel to others. Thank you for a lovely place to stay with amazing and friendly staff. When you are going through health issues with a family member the last thing you want to do is have hiccups with your stay and/or parking. The Kahler Grand Hotel made our visit effortless and we appreciate it!
