Room was very dirty. Couldn’t even take a shower. Outlets didn’t work. Heat was blasting all night and it was SOO hot all night. Maintenance came to “fix” the ac/heat problem and did nothing. Pool was so filthy as well. Rust/mold everywhere. Worst hotel stay I’ve ever had. I’m mind blown we paid almost $200 for a couple hours of sleep. We also didn’t get our Mayo Clinic discount. What can be done here?????

The sewer pipe from above goes through the wall by the beds and even woke me up a few times when people flushed. The bathroom was cleaned and stunk like a dirty rag full of bacteria one day. I asked about a patient discount since I was seeing 3 doctors from the Mayo. I expected something but they said no to me when I asked. They mentioned that I used Expedia, which isn't much of a discount.

A wonderful and historic hotel, which is right next to Mayo. Staff is excellent. I had to get transport to the airport at 3:30am and could not find an Uber or Lyft or Taxi available, and a staff member went the extra mile and personally took me to the airport. I highly recommend the hotel. Rooms and entire hotel are renovated and very nice. I will stay here next time I am in town for sure.

excellent location for Mayo Clinic

Beautiful hotel in amazing location. Restaurants, shops, ease of getting around all plusses. Lobby staff great. Very good bed, everything very clean. Would be a 5 not a 4 if water temp in shower was more consistent, and we hadn't been missed for room/towel refresh one day. Housekeeping did come but we weren't ready and asked to come back in an hour, which didn't happen.
