Including 1 bedroom, 1 bath , and a full size kitchen. Have a picnic by the fire pit or grill out on the deck. Cozy up on the leather couch and watch a good movie. Go visit many area attractions that the Hocking Hills has to offer and then return back and soak away in the hot tub. Sit back and enjoy all the nature that surrounds you. Squirrel Haven was designed for two guests only no kids or pets. Check-in 4PM. no early check-ins.

It is the perfect location very private and close to restaurants and Walmart. This is our second time staying here and we plan on going every year. The hot tub is very wonderful and very much relaxing.

Could have been cleaner. Overall a nice place to stay for our anniversary weekend. Quiet and out of the way but not too far from the attractions we wanted to visit, didn't have to interact with the hosts, very nice fire pit. But there was a bit of mold in the shower, the water in the hot tub had a yellow tint to it, and the towels smelled a bit funky. I'd consider bringing your own linens.Other things to be aware of: 1. The front door has a code lock and will relock itself automatically so make sure you take something with you to access the code if you step out.2. Property rules are very strict. There's several ways to end up with extra charges. No visitors, no dishes left out, ect.3. Amenities are bare minimum. A small bit of dish and hand soap, one trash bag, and one towel each per night.4. Shower is quite small. It has a built in seat, which is nice if needed, but significantly reduces standing space.

Location of the property is great. Very clean but overpowering smell of Pine Sol/cleaner upon entering. Had to open windows & put on fans.Cabin is nicely appointed but stark in kitchen amenities: 2 plates, 2cups, 2 salad bowls.....various sizes of each, but no lids for any of the cookware, so impossible to keep your food warm. Did not feel welcoming due to all the rule signs throughout the house. Overall, a very nice place for two!

It was nice and quiet. But my husband and I dont get to vacation much so we have high standards.1. Couch difficult to get down on left side.2. No salt3. Squeky bed kept us up.4. No extra trash bags.

A Haven Indeed

The property was clean and perfect size for me and my partner. The hot tub was a good temp, but the jets weren’t working well and more felt like a hot bath. The bed needs replacing terribly. Overall, it was a great location, cozy, peaceful, and the covered porch was perfect for sitting outside, even when it rained.

Perfect haven

Loved our time at this lil cabin!! Perfect for husband and I to relax at after a day of hiking… very clean, comfortable & cozy!! Relaxed by fire ring then hot tub… would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!!!

Not a relaxing trip!

Pros:The location was wonderful! The cabin was VERY clean! Cons:The bed is horrible!! When you sit down on the bed you sink into the middle. After the first night my back felt horrible and I was sore the next morning. The second night me and my husband slept on the couch (not much better). Sadly we wouldn’t stay again due to the sleeping situation. Also no tv in the bedroom. :(

Great little cabin

Overall we had a fantastic time. I was disappointed in the hot tub. The jets are not powerful at all so it was basically just a hot bath. Also, the pictures make the place look bigger than it is. Not a problem for us but might be for people who don’t like the bed up against a wall.

Squirrel Haven weekend

Great little spot for a couple looking for a weekend away! Very clean, comfortable, and in a solid spot right in the middle of everything. We would definitely consider the rental again if we were looking.Hot tub didn't get any use because of the wind tunnel the hills create, just inescapable cold/wind in the winter. Also the fireplace isn't actually a fireplace; it's disappointingly just a cool LED display without any heat element to it.
