Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was spacious. Bathroom was clean and well maintained. Rugs were stained and very worn. Room needs painting as do the hallway and exterior. Exterior is not very welcoming.

We stayed during the week, so it was very quiet. The hotel overall was great and did the job of giving us a place to sleep and land for a few days. It’s out dated, but clean. Our linens and mattress were cleaned and smelled freshly laundered, so a plus. The room furniture was on its last leg, literally. Our dresser drawers continuously were rolling open due to a tilt of the floor or the dresser. The desk was extremely shaky. The bathroom and shower was clean and chalk intact. The daily free breakfast was a mix of both hot and cold items. Items were not consistent day to day, for example: yogurt was only available one out of three days. Water filling was tricky because the water fountains were weak, so filling a water bottle would take time. The best spot to fill was at breakfast, but that room was only open 6-9am. The pool. It’s was there and it served the purpose for my kids to swim in, but there’s very limited seating and it was often closed during the day for its “daily acid treatment”, but it wasn’t communicated until we’d already be on the pool deck. The area is dated, but again the kids didn’t care and swam around each day. The staff was super pleasant and it appeared to be the same three to four people. Always friendly and helpful! We were visiting the area for friends and I’d definitely stay here again, as it’s so convenient and it’s really the only option in that area.

Bathroom tile is in desperate need of cleaning, baseboards are filthy, desk chair had almost all of the vinyl chipped off. No way i would sit in. Almost all of the screen windows were shredded or hanging from their frame. This hotel needs new carpet, beds were lumpy

Difficulty with large groups

We were disappointed by the restrictions in the pool area, particularly the inability to have water bottles nearby. This made it challenging to accommodate the needs of families with children, which seems essential for a hotel aiming to be family-friendly. Additionally, the hotel did not allow guests to use the breakfast area for eating outside designated times, which created difficulties for larger groups. While a conference room was eventually provided as an alternative, we were informed that alcoholic beverages were prohibited in the space. Later in the evening, at 9:50 PM, four of us were asked to leave the couches in the lobby while finishing a conversation, which was unexpected and inconvenient. The hotel hosted many guests due to a state wrestling tournament, yet lacked adequate spaces for families or groups to gather. Ultimately, we had to relocate to another hotel just to enjoy a meal and spend time with family.
