This adorable 3BR/2.5BA waterfront home features a private dock and immediate access to the Copano Bay -- home to a diverse ecosystem that includes a variety of shellfish and finfish, as well as the endangered whooping crane. Highlights include an expansive covered porch. Tie up your boat or fish from the comfort of your own backyard. Drive 7 miles to Rockport Beach.

LIVING AREA

The spacious open living area features tiled floor, furnishings, and decor throughout. Relax on a cushy couch and two leather recliners while watching a movie on the 32” TV. There’s also a convenient office nook available.

KITCHEN & DINING

In the kitchen, you’ll find everything you need to create a culinary masterpiece. A full suite of stainless steel appliances includes a dishwasher, microwave, and electric range. At mealtime, there’s room for two at the kitchen counter and seating for four at the dining room table.

BED & BATH

This one-level home sleeps six guests in three bedrooms.

In the master suite, you’ll find a stately king bed and an en-suite bathroom configured with a beautifully tiled walk-in shower. The second and third bedrooms are each furnished with a queen bed.

The guest bathroom has a walk-in shower, and there is a convenient half bath just off the office area.

OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES

Step out your back door to enjoy a beautiful waterfront view from the comfort of an expansive covered deck with seating for four at two tables.

Walk down the back steps and you’re at your own private dock, perfect for tying up a boat or for fishing with the family -- there’s even a bench and fishing pole holders.

EXTRA PERKS & MORE DETAILS

Washer/dryer, and driveway parking for three vehicles are provided.

Additional perks include access to one kayak and one paddleboard, along with paddles. No life vests are provided.

Please note, this home is accessible via seven stairs at the front entrance and may not be ideal for guests with mobility issues.

LOCATION

Drive 7 miles to Rockport Beach, one of only four certified Blue Wave Beaches along the Texas Gulf Coast -- don’t forget to visit the pier.

Cruise just 10 miles to Goose Island State Park, a great spot for fishing and bird-watching.

**Due to the location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night and supervise your children at all times while outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee pests or bugs will not be visible.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.
This rental is located on floor 1.

Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Hurricane Beryl

We payed and planned to stay here for 5 days. It was for our 10th anniversary. However on day 2 of our stay we were asked to evacuate the home (mandatory evacuation because of the hurricane). I asked for a refund or rain check for the 3 days remaining and they refused. The home is nice and clean could use some upgraded pots and pans. The master definitely needs a TV. I would have loved to stay here again but won't, since they refused to have compassion and do the right thing and refund us

Get Away

Was not expecting such a spacious living area for the price! enjoyed the tranquility, only wish we didn't have trouble on the road getting there cutting in to our time of arrival and length of stay. Plan to repeat a return in the future!

Complete Let Down

Our first impression was 5 star but that quickly changed. The beds were great and it had a very nice view out the back windows but other than that not much to brag about. The cookware was very cheaply made and everything stuck to the non-stick pan, only one burner on the stove worked correctly and at night, the parking area was not acuminated at all! There is a very small porch light that barley lights up the porch and this could very well be a security issue for guests or an accident waiting to happen. You must have a Roku account to watch TV which we did but the owner had the streaming service locked and even with a Vacasa associate coming to the house the TV issue was never resolved which with the fact that the WIFI operated only about 40% of the time but did not have the bandwidth to stream the TV made the entire situation frustrating. The shower in the guest area had little to no pressure which made taking a shower in that bathroom out of the question. We made multiple attempts everyday to contact the owner as well as Vacasa with no response. We were told by the Vacsa representative is that the owner of this property was referred to as the "Ghost" because of his lack of response to guests needs. It was very obvious to my wife and I that this owner is only interested in income verses satisfied guests. We actually booked through VRBO and they were no help with any issues either and it was obvious that VRBO does not want to have human conversation with any quest bu

Guys weekend

My husband and his friend enjoy fishing the peers at night, fishing during the day and duck hunting as well. Great restaurants. Port Arkansas is 11 miles and a great daytime trip to hit up some bars and restaurants. Only complaint was they wished they had tvs in the bedrooms and not just a 30" in the living room.

Nice house

We really liked the location of this house! We made use of the dock, kayaks (one kayak needs a new seat) and paddle board. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds could use better pillows, but they weren't so bad that we couldn't get a good night's sleep. We liked that there was a full size washer and dryer. As other reviews stated, there is only one small TV in the living room. We thought this would be difficult with 6 people in the house, but with the so much to do, we never had the TV on. We would stay here in the future if we travel to Rockport again.

My time away

The location of the property was wonderful. At first glance, everything inside was perfect. Then as I sat and looked out I could see all kinds of debris on the floor. Hair had accumulated along the baseboards. The beds were too soft and the pillows were cheap and uncomfortable. There was a mustard container and other substantial trash under the master bedroom nightstands. The listing said they had three kayaks but there was only one so we ended up renting one and had it delivered. The dock had many loose boards that created a trip/fall hazard. We did catch fish and thoroughly enjoyed that part.

Great house, small kitchen

This was an awesome house, but the kitchen was quite small and there wasn’t a lot of room to make dinner for our family (4 kids and 2 adults). Also, the ad needs to be updated - there is only one functional kayak, not three. Otherwise awesome place!

In need of a little TLC

Bed linens old thread bare and pillows flat as a sheet of paper. The one and only tv in living room (no televisions in any of bedrooms) smallest we have seen in this day and age and did not even offer local stations. Even though there is a water hose provided there is no water available on deck for fish cleaning station. The house is clean and provides basic amenities however there are no frills offered.

Property was ok, but some frustration

The property was decent. Mostly clean (found a couple hairs in the refrigerator, etc) and ants throughout the house. It wasn’t enough to bother us and we took care of what needed to be cared for. However, my frustration came from the property being advertised as having three kayaks and one paddle board. This was not the case. When we arrived there were two kayaks, one of which had a hole in the bottom. As the kayaks were a selling feature for us to rent this property, I notified the property manager of this within the first 30 minutes of us checking in. I was told they would let the homeowner know. We rented the property for 5 days, but never heard from the homeowner. No compensation was offered. No contact to rectify the situation. Not the best customer service in our opinion after spending almost $2000. Very disappointed. Won’t be returning.

Quiet, clean and comfortable with nice views

Overall we had a great stay in July, 2021. Fishing off the dock we caught and released a redfish, catfish, and 5 blue crab. The house was very clean and comfortable with ample storage in the closets (although no hangers were provided). The views were nice, and the covered back porch always had a comfortable breeze. The neighborhood was also very quiet and peaceful. We cooked dinner and lunch on the charcoal grill which was nice. My only suggestion would be to provide a bedroom TV and a few more kitchen items. Or let people know they may need to bring the following: Metal spatula for grill, grill scrubber, a few large bowls, a big pot for boiling seafood etc.
