Nestled in the heart of the Mâconnais & Beaujolais countryside, on the lands of the "Moulin à Vent", the most prestigious of the Beaujolais crus (famous AOC symbolized by an authentic 15th century "windmill" listed as a historic monument standing on a hill), Romanèche-Thorins has many amenities, a picturesque "old village" nestled in the heart of the vineyard, is home to the very famous "Hameau Dubœuf" & its unusual "little train" (the first theme park on vines & wine in Europe) as well as the very famous Touroparc Zoo (12 ha zoological park & family amusement park oriented towards "nature" with a vast "aquatic area") and benefits from a sublime landscaped hilly wine-growing setting, nestled on a bucolic exposed plateau of vineyards close to a large wild forest massif preserved as well as the banks of the Saône (protected in "Natura 2000 Zone" for their very rich ecosystem in particular ornithological).
