Pleasant, Friendly, but Beware of Street Noise

Super clean, comfortable hotel in the center of Rome, staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Decor was inviting, bathroom had tub, nice fluffly bathrobes, room was a good size. One important thing to note is that it is on a very busy road--our room was on the third floor directly on the road. The windows are just OK at blocking out the traffic noise, and they were no match for the extremely annoying singer with acoustic guitar and amplified sound in the plaza opposite the hotel, who was playing terrible pop hits (Wonderwall, Great Balls of Fire, etc) until around 23:00. I would recommend requesting a room at the back of the hotel if you're sensitive to noise--it really was a bit much that one night.

Hotel Damaso is a beautiful boutique property. The rooms a modern and beautifully decorated. Francesca, at the front desk, made our visit especially enjoyable. In addition, the included breakfast was excellent; with a wide range of fruit, pastries, eggs and meats. All in all, we would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone.

Very nice and helpful staff. A lot of dining options very close to the hotel. Can walk to all the major tourist spots from this location. Very convenient. Recommend taxi to hotel as it is too far to walk from train station. Only quibble is the shower was very small. Overall bathroom was large and clean.

I loved how our room had a balcony to enjoy the sun rise and sun set. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious. It does loud with all the sirens from the ambulances driving by every 10 mins but if at night you wear ear plugs it’s fine! I slept great. The hotel is at a very convenient location with lots of restaurants and attractions nearby. Breakfast buffet was good and everyone was very nice!

To many a second home

Just 2 minutes from Campo di Fiori and 5 from Piazza Navono. We walked to all the sights we had planned to visit. The hotel is so cosy, the staff so friendly and lots of nearby restaurants. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Highly recommandable!
