They were awful. Their website says it is accessible. HA! Even with the elevator fixed it is not in any way accessible. You must go up 2 flights. I believe 1 to get to the elevator and 1 to get to the company door.. These people need to educate themselves on what that word means. Just another company in Rome who pretends to cater to the disabled. To top it off they lied about even having an elevator. Which was the only reason I booked the establishment.I have an injured knee (torn miniscus) and cannot go up and down the steps.We got there 530 or 6) when the reception was supposed to be there(730),no one was. I'm sure that is by design.that way they can't have a cancellation (24 hr notice) I told him nicely wouldn't be able stay. I made the reservation in good faith that they had thet elevator. i took them at their word that they had the elevator. I told him nicely that I have an injured knee and the elevator was the only reason I booked with them and that I wouldn't be able to stay. He said he couldn't afford to fix it. And that it was the building owners fault. I told him again I didn't ask HIM to fix it. How ridiculous? By now he's repeated that childish excuses at least 3 times.By now yes I'm angry and was yelling.Seriously? He keeps saying about fixing the damn thing. Then he said HIS family owned the hotel. I said then you can refund me. He said no I had to take it up with who I booked it through. (Of course. We've all heard that one) We know what happened next. Th

Avoid at all costs

TLDR: This place is a mess This isn’t a hotel. It’s six rooms on the second floor of a building with a grungy entrance. Arrived at 7 p.m., which is within the reception hours, to find no one there. (A maintenance man who spoke no English was in a different room.) Via WhatsApp, I’m told which room is mine and that the key is in the door. I go in, unpack, shower and crawl in bed. After 10 p.m., there’s a knock on my door. Handed a phone on which the “owner” berates me for several minutes for stealing services I didn’t pay for. Apparently, I was supposed to be in a different room. So I pack up and move. I message whoever told me the room number on WhatsApp and I’m told, “We're very sorry for the inconvenience. For this reason, we'll be refunding you for this night.” Mistakes happen. This was nice of them. Still doesn’t excuse the owner for screaming at me uncontrollably then hanging up on me, but whatever. Refund. Never. Happens. Asked about it the one time I saw someone on the property, assured it was in the works. Following messages via WhatsApp and email are ignored. Hotels.com can’t get a response. Complete silence. I don’t know where all these other reviews about a delightful time with someone named Moira came from. But she sounds delightful.

I don’t understand how this hotel has any good reviews. The pictures are catfish! It’s very old, dirty and needs renovations. The entryway is dirty and the walls of the room are dirty. The bathroom had an odor and the shower was disgusting. Thankfully I stayed 1 night before going to the hotel, I didn’t shower that’s how bad the bathroom is! Apparently the previous guests kicked in the door so it was damaged. The host apologized & said it was getting fixed. The only positive is the location, you can walk to everything.

The location of the hotel was perfect. It's right in the middle of all of Rome's attractions. You can walk to everything, except the airport. The drawback is you must walk up 2 flights of narrow stairs to get to the hotel. There is a small elevator that can fit 3 pieces of luggage and nothing else. The room was nice except there was mold in the fridge and it never got cold. The person at the desk quickly cleaned the fridge and apologized for it. The bathroom was the bigger issue, there was mold all over the tile in the shower. Nothing was done about that issue. I asked about the VIP gift of sparkling wine and the women at the desk had no idea what I was talking about.

The receptionist is very considerate and helpful. He really walked us through the points of interest around the area. We had a great stay and definitely i will recommend this hotel. The stairs are a little bit tricky but the small elevator offers a greater use for the luggages. Indeed, a great stay for my family.

Didnt have food at hotel, but the location was excellent. Luca and his team were always helpful and very friendly. The room was immaculate and so roomy. Our stay there was delightful and i would do so again Me and mine really had a lovely 3 days.

The only comment I have is that the hotel amenities list the hotel has an elevator. True, but to get to the elevator you must climb a flight of stairs to get on and descind a flight getting off. If mobility is an issue, this is not a great stay. Otherwise, itsa great location.

Moira and her team couldnt have made us feel any more welcome. Location is 1st class, 10 mins from the Spanish steps and the Trevi fountain. Huge selection of restaurants near by as well as fantastic shopping. We would highly recommend.

Incredible hotel at incredible price

We booked a last minute trip to Rome for 1 night. This hotel was one of the cheapest within our budget, but definitely looked the best, which is why we ended up booking it. The location is brilliant, very near to the Spanish steps, but not so much footfall outside that it disturbs you at night. Moira was in contact via WhatsApp the day before and we discussed check in. She was so lovely and kind, we were even able to check in early which was a nice bonus! The room itself was spacious and bright. Had everything we needed and more including complimentary toiletries and tea/ coffee / biscuits. There was also a mini fridge to use which we found handy. The bed was comfy and the shower was powerful. I have 0 complaints about this property and will certainly book again when next in Rome!

We only stayed one night before our flight back home. the room was clean and comfortable but is not a hotel per se, its more like an apartment and you stay in rooms, elevator is tiny so prepare to take your luggage up a couple of flight of stairs, im ok with it but it was hard on my mom thats older so def a stay for younger people. The staff was super nice and we were late to check in and we had great communication about it. Its located on the heart of shopping and restaurants so very busy at night but the rooms are quiet. Comfy bed and spacious bath. No amenities at all.

Amazing!

Moira was so helpful and accommodating! The room was very clean and there were nice treats available. The location was perfect! Steps away from the Spanish Steps and Trevor Fountain, great shopping and all Italian food and drinks!

Disappointed

I was very disappointed in the room here. Yes, Maura was nice and helpful. However the room was just a place to crash—devoid of any attempt to look cheery or even pleasant. Coffee machine in room, worth paper cups not meant for hot beverages. That said, cups weren’t replaced the next day. Most of all —the dismal and dirty carpeting that led to the “hotel.” The only thing it had going for it was the location.
