We always stay at Hotel Nord Nuova when in Rome. It is an easy walk from the train station, and is convenient to transportation options. The breakfast is nice, the restaurant was fantastic, and the roof bar was a relaxing way to end the day.

This has been the worst bed I’ve slept in. It was like sleeping on plywood. Pillows were pretty bad too. Although very quiet, you could hear other people blowing their nose or their alarm clock. Staff was great! Very accommodating and courteous.

Loved this hotel. A very quick walk from the train station, and within a 20- to 30-minute walk of many must-see sights (Forum, Coliseum, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps). The rooftop bar was a highlight. Staff were lovely. Room was HUGE!

The hotel is a lovely 3 star hotel - the room we had was rather basic BUT it was certainly adequate to our needs, the beds were comfortable and bedsheets clean. We spent most of our time outside of the hotel, but the staff was very friendly and helpful, always smiling. Breakfast was also very yummy and no matter what time we went for breakfast, there was never anything missing.

I stayed at this hotel recently and, unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations. The room was dated and quite dusty, with clear signs it hadn’t been properly cleaned before my arrival — there were dust balls on the floor, a dead bug on the cushion, and long hair on the floor and in the bidet. I even had to wipe down the toilet seat myself, which shouldn’t be necessary in any hotel. The shower filled up with water every time I used it and had a noticeable drainage smell, which made it unpleasant to use. The air conditioning didn’t work, so the room was uncomfortably hot, and the walls were paper thin — I could hear the guest next door snoring, coughing, and even using the bathroom. I reported the shower drainage and cleanliness issues to reception on arrival, who were polite but only offered a room change the evening of my last night, but by then I had evening plans and was checking out early the following morning, so it wasn’t practical. The hotel did waive the €12 tourist tax, which I appreciated, but overall the cleanliness and maintenance standards need significant improvement. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I hope this feedback encourages the management to address these issues so future guests have a better experience.

This hotel is just a five minute walk from the train station. The rooms were clean and the staff welcoming. We needed a recommendation for a restaurant and were given a wonderful suggestion just a block and a half from the hotel. We were only there one night, but would highly recommend staying.
