This is actually a review for The Hive, the Impero's "sister" hotel, located nearby. When we arrived at the Impero, we were informed that we had been "upgraded" to the Hive, nearby. In fact, the Hive was excellent (probably indeed an upgrade from the Impero). We had a spacious comfortable room at the Hive, and an excellent breakfast. The terrace was also lovely. The location, near Termini was very convenient. The staff was very helpful/friendly. Would stay at the Hive again, for sure.

The breakfasts were very good, usually fresh, with a variety of meats, cheeses and cakes/crostatas/croissants. My wife has an allergy to lactose; the breakfast staff took care of her very well. The location is excellent, close to a metro station, and within walkable distance to many sights. It is also walkable to the main railway station.

Hotel has great potential, but guess owner is not intrested, do not pay Breakfast its not worth it, and it a lot cheaper and better outside hotel, Customer service is terrible. Front desk don’t even look at you when enter or exit building. Hotel is old and could be much better. Excellent location, 20 min walk from every sight in reality.

Stayed here for a few days to visit the Colosseum and other sites. The 10-minute walk to the train station is a huge plus for those traveling through Italy! Everything else is walkable (20 mins), except the Vatican (30 mins by metro/taxi). Highly recommend for the convenience.

Great stay in well located spot!

Great stay. Location is super convenient being so close to Termini and walking distance to many major attractions (and also close to both subway lines). Staff were friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast included also. Hotel is on a less busy street and so relatively quiet.

Stayed in Rome for 48 hours. Great hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance to most attractions in Rome or short taxi ride if not wanting to walk.
