The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The location to/from the Rome Termini was great for walking without need for additional transportation needs. Mecenate location was close to shops, restaurants, including a jump onto the subway down the street on the same block was beneficial. The Roof restaurant and bar area was a great space to enjoy.

Loved everything about this Hotel. We were here years ago and it’s still charming ,classy, vintage with a modern twist. Breakfast is very varied and tasty. Rooftop restaurant is breathtaking. Rooms are so cozy and clean not to mention quiet with great views. Great location . The staff is friendly, courteous, and very helpful. Honestly I can’t say enough about this little gem in Trastevere Rome. The neighborhood and offers many choices in restaurants and is lovely to walk around. Would return in a heartbeat. Ciao

Nice hotel. Service oriented, friendly and helpful staff. Loved the terraced bar, where we also had our breakfast. The hotel probably could do with some updating. Very convenient: 5 minutes from Roma’s main train station. Restaurants, bars and cafes nearby. Walkable to many of the historical sites.

This was my second time staying here and I highly recommend it. The location is perfect and close to the train and cafes and shopping. The staff are wonderful. I always choose a room with a view which is spectacular and is the cherry on top. The breakfast is the best and the staff like Jenny are so friendly and make you feel like family. I will definitely stay there again!

Lovely hotel, beautiful roof top bar and restaurant. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Our room had enough room for 2 people and luggage, marble floors and modern bathroom.The staff was very nice, friendly and I would like to complement all of the waitstaff at the downstairs bar and at the rooftop bar.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Wonderful breakfast on the rooftop restaurant included. Basilica right across the street, as well as a food market where you can get wine and snacks for your room. Walking distance to Trevi Fountain and Colosseum. Hop on Hop off bus stop right around the corner. Location couldn't have been better.

When a person stays here be aware the restaurant on the rooftop is high robbery not allowed up there unless you buy a drink or food. No relaxing after a day of running around. Was so disappointed drinks and food cheaper around the corner. However I truly think if your paying for a hotel there you and family should be able to use it with out having to pay for anything. Will never be back and don’t forget all the rats out front. Crazy to see

Recommend as a last choice option

Not sure how this is rated a four star hotel. There were stains on the couch and tons of dust accumulated on the carpet. None of the outlets would keep a plug in so I could not charge my devices. Bathroom is nice and breakfast is lovely though.
