We stayed over the long weekend Republic holiday. One safety/security notice that I recommend the property to change: if you arrive early, the luggage storage is not in a locked room and unmanaged. We took our valuables with us and left our clothes in the room, but we did have some concerns since we were there for the long weekend and we were worried about petty crime. The location felt safe enough, it is a little further away from main attractions, but you can choose to take the Metro or Bus, with stations that are about 10-12min walk away. The AC was cool (max down to 20°C). Good shower and beds.

This was a very unique hotel right near the train station, which was very convenient. We loved the old beams in the rooms and the original stone steps used in the greenery hundreds of years ago. Very historical! The beds were comfortable and the towels were large and fluffy. The showers needed improvement as the shower head sprayed the water all over the place. Mohammed and Miguel at the front desk were both friendly and helpful!

We enjoyed the historical significance of a hotel, being in an old greenery with the original stone steps that the donkeys walked up and down to deliver the grain. The room was small, but functional. The bed was super comfy, and the towels were thick and large. The bathroom shower could use some improvement. The two guys at the front desk were really friendly and helpful. We would stay here again.

Fantastic little property in a great area convenient to everything we needed. It was nice to know when I woke up I was in Rome and not in some generic hotel room anywhere in the world. We also organised our arrival transfer from the airport through the hotel. Our drive was lovely and told us a little of the sights as we drove through the city. It was a great way to start our holiday. Also the restaurant down the street was great.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The property was in an amazing location, very close to local eateries and walking distance to train station and colosseum. Staff were really helpful and kind - greeted us each morning and evening and booked a taxi for us within 5 minutes! The room itself was a good size with a comfortable bed, although the bathroom had quite a distasteful smell, it could really do with a deep clean. Overall, we’d stay here again.

We loved this hotel. The hotel was able to accommodate two friends travelling together with a huge triple room looking over the peaceful church courtyard. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. Hotel is only a 7 minute walk from the Termini train station and Metro, 3 minutes from where Pope Francis is buried and a 15 minute walk to the Colosseum. Old world charm with modern amenities-loved it!

Couldn't beat the location. Close to Termini station and basically everything. Able to walk to the Coliseum and pretty much everywhere if you don't mind walking. Seemed safe to me.

The hotel is on a quiet alley, 200 meters from Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica and situated in a 12th century grainery. However the hotel is Very modern, well kept and the rooms are just superb. There are literally dozens of eateries, bars, gelaterias, department stores and kiosks very close by, and on a major bus route. I Highly recommend this hotel. When we return next year we plan to stay there again!
