Location:
The GetInRome Vaticano apartments are located in a strategic point, a stone's throw from St. Peter's Square and the Vatican, just a few minutes away from Castel S. Angelo and the splendid Spanish Steps. Stain is not absolutely necessary.
The apartments are just a stone's throw from the Ottaviano Metro stop, with which you can reach easily and in a very short time the other important poles of the city. (Colosseum, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza di Spagna, Circus Maximus etc.).

Just some info that may be important for you:
Most major tourist destinations, like Rome, have regulations that govern private room or apartment renting. Basically any room or apartment that rents space without respecting these regulations is not legal.
Those who aren’t authorized to be renting their properties are surely incapable or unwilling to abide by other laws that are all connected.

Why should you care?
Booking an illegal rental puts you at risk of being stranded without a place to stay if a property owner is forced to comply with the law and removes their rental from the market.

Safety. Hosts who circumvent the rental permit process are also less likely to follow regulations. If you don’t care about the law and preventing disasters, you really don’t care much about the people they might happen to.
At check in it is requested a city tax of 6 euros per person per day by the City Of Roma to pay in cash at check in.

The apartment manager Alessandra was very friendly, responsive, informative and helpful to us. She also booked drivers for us to and from the apartment and shared eating and shopping recommendations in our immediate area. There was a binder filler with good info for us to use during our stay. The apartment was clean and reasonably comfortable. My only disappointment was that the coffeemaker did not work but I’m confident it will be fixed or replaced soon.

Location, location, location! Located about three blocks away from the Vatican, Saint Peter’s Basilica, it was so nice to be able to just wake up walk down the street have coffee or an espresso. Restaurants were everywhere! A short two block walk to the bus stop to go just about anywhere in the city! We were able to walk to the pantheon and Trevi fountain as well! The condo had everything we needed. We were there for seven days and always had hot water and a comfortable bed. What else can you ask for? Is also very affordable compared to other places with such an awesome location. We highly recommend it. Allesandra was always available to answer every question. Her response was immediate. She even arranged for a private driver to pick us up at the airport and bring us back when it was time to leave. Much cheaper than taking a cab or an Uber from the airport. We paid 80 for the private transportation. We would stay here again!

You will not be disappointed

Stayed for 5 days while visiting daughter, and the entire experience was fabulous!Booking was quick as Alessandra was fast/thorough with her responses;Location, location, location! 3min walk to Metro and 8min to St Peters. Check-in was great. Alessandra was kind enough to let me drop my bags after my flight, which made waiting until check-in really easy. She also pinged me via WhatsApp, making communication really easy.The flat was nicely equipped (new bath renovations), separate/doored bedroom; kitchen had all that was needed.As said, lication was perfect. Great restaurants, foodstores, bars (dive and otherwise).Now, what colyd improve, because nothing is perfect....and these are horribly picky....1) USB outlets would be helpful - always carry a USB adapter yourself so it is not a big problem; and, 2) a soapdish in the shower (like I said REALLY nit-picking stuff).Wrapping it up...you will not be disappointed with this flat!

Rome Visit

This location could not have been better. 8-10 minutes from St Peters. All major attractions are walkable. Didn’t get on transit at all in six days. The property manager was extraordinary helpful. Ride arrangements to and from airport and restaurant recommendations were great. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. Good proximity to grocery and laundry made it ultra convenient.

Amazing apartment near the Vatican

This property is amazing and located in a very pretty neighborhood near the Vatican. The owner was very friendly and offered many recommendations that most tourists may not know about. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone planning a visit to Rome.

Private apartment-Rome

Room was great but there were no instructions on how to work the A/C remote control. It kept shutting on and off and we couldn’t figure out why. Very nice host and very clean property. Our key to the main door was worn and broke in the lock and had to pay an additional two $80 euros to get it fixed. Location is great, host was great …neighbors not so nice when they found out it was your key that caused a problem.

Great apartment in perfect location

Great apartment in quiet, safe neighborhood. Convenient to everything. Host was wonderful and even coordinated an early check in. Apartment had working A/C and a modern bathroom. Perfect for my daughter and me. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is that I had to pay for sheets for the pullout. I feel like if you are going to advertise the pullout, you should not have to pay extra for the linens. Overall a wonderful stay and I would definitely book again.

Plumbing and AC Issues

First, I would like to start with the good. The location was amazing and really central to the destinations we wanted to see. The bed was really comfortable. The shower was really pleasant as well. I really liked the rainfall shower head. Now, for the not so good. There were two AC units in the apartment. One in the living/kitchen area, one in the bedroom/bathroom area. The AC for the bedroom area smelled like a combo of mildew, dirt, and old workout clothes. Either the unit hadn't been cleaned in a while, had a really old filter, or was frozen at one point, and there was a pool of liquid somewhere in unit, because it was awful. To make matters worse, it blew right on the bed. After the first night, I woke up coughing and phlegmy the next day. We finally had to turn the unit off. The bathroom was a whole different situation. I understand that plumbing is extremely different than in the United States, but this was just bad. It smelled like raw sewage. I know it wasn't normal either as we had family stay in a different vacation rental right down the street and they did not have the same issues at all. We brought the two issues up with the host. She said she had never heard of this happening before. I'm not sure how that's possible. She told us to run the water on the bidet. It didn't really help when you walked in after a long day of walking to the smell of a port-a-potty. We didn't feel like she responded well and the issues were never resolved.

This cozy apartment made our stay in Rome perfect! Alessandra was so accommodating and even arranged to have a driver pick us up at the airport. Communication was excellent. Perfect Apartment for us

Good stay in Rome Apartment

The accommodations were clean and convenient. Everything was good but the mattress needs replaced badly. We tried turning it every way possible to get away from the large indentation but there was no way to get it in a spot where both sides were comfortable.

Nice Though Lacking

Alessandra met us and showed us into the apartment. She was very friendly and informative. When we asked about the sheets for the sofa/bed she said it'll cost more to have them delivered. The bathroom and bedroom lacked hooks for hanging. The location was wonderful. Easy walk to restaurants and the cab station.
