A little hard to find driving through the old town streets but once we found the hotel it was in a perfect location to explore the historic town of Rothenburg.

Firstly, the hotel was beautiful. Made up of 12th /18th centiry house, located right in the center. Large lobby & the staff were very attentitive. There is a lift which is needed if you have heavy luggage. The hotel, as expected has twists & turns on each floor (it was a house & designed as such). The room was very spacious & modern. No aircon in the room, again that is expected due to the limitations of altering the property. The bathroom was very dated & needed in desparate need of an upgrade. Next cause a problem for us. If you're not driving it won't affect you. In the centre you need to negotiate around cobbled streets that only one car can fit down. Only a small challenge. We parked outside of the hotel which was great.There is parking but on the opposite side of the street. Maxium parking is 2 hours for €4 which is fine. The receptionist gave me a card to put in the car window while I was unloading. THEN...I had the drive my car outside of the city walls & leave it there overnight. In the morning I had to go fetch my car & drive it to the hotel. I went to pay for parking but was abruptly told by a nosey German shop keeper I couldnt park there. I said I was paying but she said I wasnt allowed. Parking is only allowed from 9:00am. Expect to receive a parking ticket if you're leaving early. The receptionist helped & we put the sign in the car, I went to fetch my daughter/luggage. Loaded & left. So if you're driving beware. Not the hotel's fault, more the council.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. We had everything we needed and more. Parking was located a couple streets off site in a barn for 14 euros and there were plenty available spots. Would stay again!

Location was perfect. Room included balcony with a nice view of the garden and city. The breakfast was an additional charge but was delicious and had various options. The driving there was a bit complicated since google Maps wasn’t updated on streets with construction. However, once we found the hotel, the staff were super helpful in letting us park in front of hotel to unload our luggage and check in and provided us instructions on how to get to the parking outside the city walls. We paid around €7 for 24 hr parking outside the city walls with a mostly flat 10min walk back to the hotel. Luggage storage was available after check out. Overall, great stay!

We absolutely loved Rothenberg and the hotel was so very charming. The room was spacious and had a very nice bathroom. The only downside was the fact that it was very hot and there was no air conditioning. Unfortunately, the front desk staff was very snooty and not that helpful.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Rothenburg. Very modern rooms in a hotel that maintains the image of a forgotten age. The breakfast buffet was excellent but the layout had something to be desired.

Breakfast wasn’t good, didn’t enjoy due flies everywhere. Staff wasn’t very attentive or helpful. Parking is far away. No valet service available. Hard to go around driving through town. Narrow streets, lots of people crossing, easy to take a wrong turn due to confusing signs.
